00:00Live in San Francisco at Bloomberg Tech, the biggest story of the week was Anthropic filing
00:05confidentially for an IPO and what timing. Daniela Amadei, the co-founder and president,
00:10on stage explaining that the reason you need to do an IPO is it's the only mechanism to get that
00:15level of capital just three days after the company pulls the trigger. The other big story, of course,
00:20SpaceX and SpaceX's IPO pricing in the last 24 hours. You have Trey Stevens, a founder's fund,
00:27a firm that has a few single digit percent, but a big stake ahead of this listing. And it's a
00:32really big deal saying, do not bet against Elon Musk. That is a bad idea. A pretty simple argument
00:38from him. The other big story is one about earnings, and that is Broadcom. Custom silicon to take on
00:44NVIDIA in the market for compute. We had Hocktan, the CEO, on stage and talking about, well, this is
00:51longer term. This is the outlook. There's so much focus on AI, but not just in abstract. It's been
00:59about why is so much capital required? Why is there such a discussion or focus on a bubble or not?
01:06And
01:06we heard from San Francisco Fed President Mary Daly that while the productivity data shows that AI
01:11might not yet be having an impact, we aren't in a bubble either. And you had a number of CEOs
01:16weigh in
01:16than that at the show. So again, live in San Francisco at Bloomberg Tech, the news all about AI, but
01:21also
01:21all about the race to capital.
