00:00But it wasn't supposed to get out until 8 o'clock at night on Monday.
00:04And, you know, like part of it was so like Sean McVay wanted to tell Jarrett
00:11versus face-to-face, and part of it was the damage that was done
00:18with the Jarrett Goff trade.
00:21And when Goff went, and McVay, like I can tell you, like 100%,
00:26like I can, you know, I've talked to him about it quite a bit.
00:32That really affected Sean.
00:34Like he felt awful about the way the Goff thing went down.
00:37And so it was really important to the Rams that they were the ones to tell
00:41Burst that he was being traded.
00:44And so that news, the whole idea, the agreement between the Rams and Browns
00:50was like this doesn't get out until 8 o'clock Eastern.
00:52The Browns had their charity golf tournament.
00:54They didn't want it to overshadow the golf tournament.
01:00And they got – I do have a question about coolers.
01:04We can do that in the next day.
01:05Okay.
01:05All right.
01:06Sure.
01:08So that morning in L.A., like the Rams had started to get like, uh-oh,
01:15like this is starting to percolate.
01:18And there's some people that know that maybe we didn't think would know
01:21and all of that.
01:22And so at 9.40 – so they called the Browns at around 9 o'clock Pacific
01:29and said, if this thing's getting out, we've got to tell Jared.
01:32And so everything got pushed up.
01:34But there had been – like I think there were – there was a certain amount
01:37of us that knew what was going to happen.
01:39And so everything got pushed up.
01:41And then they – their individual meetings, their position meetings broke at 9.45.
01:49McVay and Lesney, the general manager, grabbed Verse, pulled him into the room,
01:54told him he was being traded.
01:56Verse asked – his only request was like, can I address my teammates in the team
02:00meeting at 10?
02:01He goes into the team meeting and addresses them.
02:04And then it wound up breaking at whatever, 10.45 Pacific, I think,
02:07right around there.
02:09But like a lot of this stuff is embargoed and managed and all that different stuff.
