00:04What I've been able to see within this district is early marriages
00:08of girls within
00:1011, 12 and 13 years
00:12being driven to get married and
00:13some of those drivers are poverty.
00:15Someone would want to have a cow in exchange
00:18of their daughter to
00:19go and marry and
00:21because of that I have seen a lot of
00:24cervical cancer cropping
00:26in within the district as some of
00:28the things because of, I'm seeing
00:30children start
00:31six, early years, early years
00:33ten, nine years within my
00:35district. We also saw a lot of
00:38many children
00:39early marriages coming into board
00:41and actually saw one of the
00:44youngest grand
00:45mother within the district.
00:47I remember I
00:49worked on that girl, she was about
00:5111 years, you know
00:53and she was delivering through a cesarean section
00:56and then her mother was
00:58about 24
01:00years. So
01:02meaning I was seeing a grandmother
01:04at 24 ushering
01:06in a grandchild. So you would
01:08look at this catastrophe of
01:09the family and say
01:12how do we need to
01:13help out such a situation. When you tell
01:16people about early marriages and
01:17unsafe sexual practices for these
01:20girls, they think it's all about
01:22what am I getting today. They don't
01:24know about the health implications
01:25that come as a result of that.
01:27as well to see how we can
01:28have a relationship
01:32that we can talk about.
01:33Let's see.
01:33Let's see.
