00:00I knew when I brought Gigi home, her being a bully breed, the challenges we were going to face.
00:04Any park that we went to, people would say that they didn't want Gigi there.
00:08They would give us a hard time. They would cross the street.
00:13I didn't know how exactly I was going to socialize Gigi.
00:17I made a reel that said, if you have a bully breed in San Diego, we're going to start doing
00:22pack walks.
00:26So it really kind of just started off as nice just getting together in a spot.
00:30And just hanging out and just having that safe space for other humans that have bully breeds.
00:36And it became bigger. People who had Dobermans started reaching out.
00:40People who had Rottweilers and all these different dogs who face those similar stigmas.
00:46You're going to walk your dog towards Sleever, and then you're going to loop right back into the circle.
00:51It became a space for people to bring their dogs to socialize, build confidence, build neutrality, not only for the
00:56dog, but also for the human.
00:59It's almost like people want to be a part of something so special because we made it a lighter version
01:05of positive things around the stigmas.
01:07Let me just back safely.
01:09Good job, hot dog.
01:10One more round of the turnabout.
01:12And now I'm inside the shelters. I work with rescues. I work with Pawsers, and it's very cool.
01:18Gigi has been such a special dog from the get-go.
01:21And to see how our relationship has brought together strangers from all over and give them that space to, you
01:27know, feel loved and feel heard.
01:29And just seeing that has been truly special.
01:39And just seeing that has been truly special.
