00:48best part of anybody's day is when the theater goes dark and everything gets quiet
00:53and I'm watching this rehearsal and I you hear footsteps clip clop clip and this man walks out
01:03and he goes spotlight and this spotlight drops down on him
01:12I thought that was the coolest thing I had ever seen anybody do in the theater
01:18and from then on from that moment on I was enraptured with everything that man said and
01:27did because I knew I was in the presence of genius I don't know how I knew that at 12
01:33years old I don't
01:34know what it was about spotlight I don't know what it was about that show but it made me realize

01:41an artist was what grace was what the best of us is and it shaped my entire life and I
01:51told him I would
01:51come home and I would tell my mom I was like mom the chimney man the chimney man the chimney
