00:25So how is it to celebrate it with fans tonight in person with Apple and Chase?
00:30It's so fun. I'm really excited for this performance.
00:33But like in specifically like this in specifically and particularly specifically we found this performance because it's so musical.
00:41And I have this amazing band and we do these new like takes on the songs that the fans have
00:46heard a million times.
00:47And I'm really happy that I can bring something new and fresh.
00:56So we want to talk about how you continue to bring the new and freshness.
01:00Yes. Because like these viral moments at the festival.
01:01So that video with all the people of like the drone shot.
01:10And Lollapalooza, I actually teared up when the guy came on stage.
01:14Me too.
01:14That moment was just like wow.
01:15I know.
01:16And then in Belgium when they lift everybody up in the air.
01:18It's amazing.
01:19And this is something that can't be planned.
01:20And it's something that the fans bring.
01:23It's really something that I can do from stage by myself.
01:27And I feel like that's what's so beautiful is that I feel like the people who are watching in the
01:31crowd and the audience they are truly a part of the show.
01:35Like that's what it means to watch something live and to be a part of an experience.
01:39And I really want people wherever they are like in whatever festival or country to have that experience and to
01:46be together to create special memories.
01:48Because I really do feel like every show is different.
01:52And every audience brings something different.
01:55And it's something that I can't plan.
01:56Because you never know when it's going to be.
01:58And who knows what's going to happen tonight.
01:59Well I mean you do have to plan the festivals that you're going to though.
02:02And you have All Things Go coming up very soon.

02:33And then for headlining I want it to be like.
02:35I want it to be so mega and big and amazing that everyone's like well now she has to like.

02:46More people have discovered me and more people are looking at me.
02:51As new fans continue to discover you it's one of my favorite things.

03:04So what's the workout routine?
03:05No it's really just the dancing.
03:07Like the show is enough.
03:09And I've been doing like so many shows this past year.
03:14That's a it's it's like pretty full on.

03:18That's more than enough.
03:19Cause the girls are obsessed.
03:20Okay.
03:20And the guys.
03:21The gays.
03:21Everybody.
03:22Everybody.
03:22We all obsessed.
03:24But you don't need to have a lot to shake it.

03:27I'm gonna try.

03:28You just gotta loosen up the hips a little bit.
03:30And let's talk about your honesty in general.
03:32I love that when you were overseas.
03:33Yeah.
03:33You were talking about like the ticket prices.
03:35Yeah.
03:35And things like that.
03:36And like how involved you want to be.
03:37I do.
03:37Even though you've been an artist for a while.
03:39You like also are learning about the business.
03:40So how is it to grow as an artist in that way as well?
03:42No, it's really important for me.
03:44And I feel like as I'm sort of switching out.
03:46I'm also really surrounding myself with people who are very aligned.
03:51On on everything surrounding like my music, my interests, my my opinions.
03:59I feel like it's it's really important to have people around you who can sort of like give you the
04:04power to be involved in everything that surrounds what you're doing.
04:07And I'm really just excited to get into it because it's weird how long I've been in the industry.
04:12But yet just now feel like I am really taking control over my artistry and what I do and how
04:20involved I am.
04:21So there's so much for me to to still get to know and like work on and I will do
04:26so like I'm very I'm very passionate about doing what feels right to me.
04:31And then also having that being supported by the people around me.
04:35So I do appreciate you guys bringing that to my attention because it is something that I truly care about.
04:39Well, listen, Zara, I do actually want to talk to you about that honestly as well, because I've been thinking
04:43about you a lot lately with everything happening online.
04:45I'm sure, you know, you've seen the Macklemore stuff.
04:47And I think like he did something for sure, put 10 toes down and fans are supporting it.
04:52People are loving it more when that's a scary thing to do.
04:55Yeah, always been outspoken.
04:57So how is it for you to see the fan support behind somebody else that is like, I'm just going
05:00to say what I'm going to say?
05:01No, I respect that so much. I really do.
05:03And it is so powerful to see how everyone can come together and make a difference.
05:07I hope for me in the future to not lose the sight of what's honest and true to myself.
05:14And I think that it's also being supported by the people you have around you to just make sure that
05:19every decision is something that feels honest and right.
05:23It might look scary, but hopefully like in the future, whatever happens to me that I will take the right
05:30decisions that I actually won't be that hard.
05:32There will actually be really easy because it's clear.
05:35I want to feel like everything that I do is is clear and it comes from a place of love.
05:41And it's just me talking about myself.
05:43Yeah, of course.
05:44And I love how fans are supporting you through that because even like your music, it's bright.
05:48It's fun.
05:48It's uplifting.
05:49And then you like see, you know, that list that was circulating online that was like artists we can trust.
05:54It was people that like liked his post and you were like at the top of the list.
05:57And how do you feel that your fans feel like you're a trustworthy person?
06:00I really, really appreciate that.
06:02But I think I just try to be a good person.
06:05And I genuinely believe that most people out here, like I don't think that there are many evil people in
06:11the world.
06:11I do think everyone is good in their in their souls.
06:14Like I want to believe that I want to believe that there's humanity is good.
06:18Whatever your life looks like or whatever choices you make, it's it's I want to take them from love.
06:24And I want to make sure that my decisions that I make are for the people and like to benefit
06:32the people and to just make sure that I stay honest and true to myself.
06:39And then I hope it's just an easy path.
06:47This era has been huge, right?
06:49One of the biggest eras ever for artists I've seen blow up like this.
06:52So what can you tease about what's next?
06:54What's going on with Blue Moon?
06:55Talk to me, girl.
06:57I'm trying to I'm trying to really spread the Blue Moon propaganda of it all.
07:01And just I don't feel like the the era is really over yet.
07:04I really don't.
07:05I have so much new music that I want to work on.
07:07But I really, really want to push Blue Moon because I feel like it's Midnight Sun's sister.
07:13OK, and it deserves a video and it deserves love.
07:16And I really want to make sure that people aren't forgetting her or maybe they haven't even discovered Blue Moon.
07:23People are still discovering so much about you every day.
07:26So there's so much space to be to be held still for the whole Midnight Sun album.
