Organisers have unveiled a larger programme for Liverpool’s Pride, including headline performances, a city-wide celebration and the annual Pride March. Thousands of visitors are expected across the weekend.

00:00For many people, Pride is about visibility, community and coming together.
00:04And this summer, Liverpool is preparing to host one of its most ambitious celebrations to date.
00:10Liverpool's Pride 2026 will take place across the 24th and 25th of July,
00:15with organisers expanding the event into a city-wide festival designed to attract visitors from across the country.
00:22The weekend begins with a major opening party at the M&S Bank Arena.
00:26Organisers have announced a line-up, including the Sugar Babes, Beth Ditto, Bimini, Sia Kofi, House Gospel Choir and Horsemeat
00:33Disco,
00:33alongside Liverpool LGBTQ plus performers who will be revealed during Pride Month.
00:39According to organisers, proceeds from the opening event will support the work of Sahir House,
00:44while also helping fund the wider Pride programme taking place across the weekend.
00:48But Pride exists far beyond the arena.
00:51On Saturday, the annual Pride March returns, with organisers encouraging people from across the UK
00:57to take part in what they describe as a visible show of solidarity and support for LGBTQ plus communities.
01:05Alongside the March, community events will take place at Liverpool Experience Campus on the Waterfront,
01:10hosted by Debbie Darling.
01:12The programme is set to feature performances from House of Suarez, Sonia and Jesterboy, alongside additional guests.
01:17The weekend will also include a Pride Expo, bringing together businesses, creatives and community organisations,
01:25while dedicated transport links are planned to connect venues across the city's Pride Quarter.
