00:37On May 28th, Aliens.gov launched.
00:40The site opens with green text on a black screen, starting a Star Wars-esque crawl.
00:45For 60 years, the US government has kept a closely guarded secret.

00:51living in our neighborhoods and interacting with us in our daily lives.
00:54They've shopped in the same stores, attended the same classes as our children,
00:58and lived seemingly normal human existences.

01:24Refugee advocates called the UFO framing dehumanizing,
01:28saying it reduces actual people to creatures from another world.
01:31And UFO journalist Ross Coltheart, a NewsNation special correspondent,
01:36called it a puerile effort that mocked every researcher and whistleblower who fought for real
01:40disclosure.
