00:01We've got the updated June Game Pass arrivals. There's likely to be another wave around mid-month,
00:07but let's just jump in and see what's confirmed so far.
00:10Alright, so starting things out, we've got a few games coming on June 2nd.
00:14First up is Final Fantasy VI, which follows the other Final Fantasy games which have already come
00:19to Game Pass on a monthly rotation. So this edition was kind of no surprise. If you wanted
00:25to go back and play through all the classics which got the series going, having access to
00:29them through Game Pass is a great time to give them a go. I've actually started playing through
00:34with Final Fantasy I not that long ago, and we'll see, I might give it a go getting through
00:39the entire classic releases. Also on June 2nd is Jurassic World Evolution 3. This one came out
00:46in 2025, and you guessed it, it's the third in the Jurassic World Evolution series. These games
00:52are essentially your construction and management sandbox games, but with a twist. Of course,
00:57it's the dinosaurs. Basically, you get the option to build and manage your own dinosaur
01:02theme park, and 3 introduces juvenile dinosaurs, which allows you to breed and raise your own
01:08families of dinos from juveniles to adults.
01:13And lastly, on June 2nd is The Elder Scrolls Online. This is the MMO which takes place in
01:20The Elder Scrolls universe. It's set about a thousand years before Skyrim, so they essentially
01:25have free reign for telling stories. Of course, things should fit within the established lore,
01:29but since no games have actually gone there, they're able to craft a lot of unique individual
01:34stories. With such a large time gap, well, yeah, things can change, and it's not going to have
01:39major conflicts with the lore of the later games. I used to play it quite a bit, but then I
01:44stopped,
01:44so I haven't seen what it's become for quite a while. With it included in Game Pass though,
01:49there's really no downside if you're an Elder Scrolls fan to just jump in and give it a try. See
01:53if it clicks
01:54with you. And now we jump all the way to June 8th. Here we see Solar Punk. This one's an
02:03open world
02:04survival crafting game set in a high-tech universe of floating sky islands. It's an indie game, and it
02:10was developed by a two-person team at Cyberwave, published by Rokaplay. It's coming to Game Pass as
02:15a day one release on June 8th, so if this one was on your radar, it's a good place to
02:20give it a try.
02:22On June 11th, we've got Bistro. This one was supposed to come to Game Pass last month,
02:27but it did get delayed. In Bistro, you play as a young chef running a small restaurant in the
02:32village of Palapuri, while monsters gather outside the walls. You'll gather ingredients,
02:37grow crops, cook dishes through minigames, and serve both the townsfolk and the caretakers.
02:42These are essentially adventurers who head out to fight those monsters. The meals you make shape
02:47their abilities through a deck-building combat system built around ingredient effects.
02:57Also on June 11th is Frog Squad. This brings another co-op game to Game Pass.
03:02This one's a 1-8 player physics and extraction platformer, where you and your friends play as frogs.
03:09You're going to be gathering food in a procedurally generated sewer, with the main focus of the game
03:13centered around feeding the ravenous Swamp King. Basically, you've got to give them enough food
03:18to meet your daily quota so you don't become a meal yourself.
03:24And the last June 11th release is Starseeker Astroneer Expeditions.
03:30Yep, this one's another co-op extraction game. This time it's set in a sandbox set in the Astroneer
03:37universe. Players will board the ESS Starseeker space station to take on missions to alien planets,
03:43where you gather loot, study alien ecosystems, and return to the station before the limited oxygen
03:48supply runs out.
03:54On June 17th we have Den Shittak. This one's an extreme sports game by Undercoders. Here you're
04:01controlling an entire gravity-defying train, like a skateboard. Apparently this one's described as
04:07Tony Hawk meets Jet Set Radio. Definitely a unique looking game that's probably going to fit a very
04:12particular niche. But we'll see how people react to it, since this one's another day one release on
04:16Game Pass. Also on June 17th is Shift at Midnight, an online co-op detective horror game. It says you
04:25can play this one solo or with up to three other players. You're working a night shift in a 1990s
04:31gas station, and while managing your duties you need to identify and eliminate doppelgangers before they
04:36infiltrate the store. Looks like June is shaping up to be the month of unique niche co-op games. From
04:43the trailers I've seen I guess you could play it solo, but it really looks like this one's designed
04:48for co-op. On June 25th we have Abyssus, another co-op game allowing you to play one to four
04:57players
04:57in an FPS roguelite set in a sub-aquatic brine punk world. Your submarine crashes and you battle
05:03through procedurally generated ruins to gather resources, upgrade weapons, and survive against
05:08hordes of corrupted sea creatures and mechanical guardians.
05:15Alright, we got a couple games that are coming with dates to be decided. Are we there yet? This one
05:21was TBD for release in May, but I guess it got pushed back to June now. Another co-op game.
05:27This
05:27time it's an adventure about getting your RV home after being forced onto a dangerous backcountry route.
05:33You'll manage your supplies, keep everyone alive through hazards in Mabuts Valley, and you're going
05:38to be using a physics-based winch system to pull the RV over whatever's blocking the road. Scavenging,
05:44repairs, and teamwork keep the vehicle and the friendships intact.
05:51And another TBD game is Vapor World Over the Mind. This one's a narrative-driven souls-like 2D
05:57platformer. You take control of an amnesiac boy traversing a dark surreal dreamscape which is
06:03shaped by trauma. The game was developed by Alive Inc. and features hand-drawn art in an exploration and
06:09apparently challenging peri-focused combat game. And so that wraps up June Game Pass so far. Honestly,
06:16this month looks like a bunch of online co-op, indie, or just very niche games,
06:20but we'll see what else gets announced at the mid-month of June. Personally, I don't really have
06:25too much interest in all these co-op or extraction style games, but that's just my preference.
06:31Probably the one that I'm most interested in is Jurassic World Evolution 3. I have played others
06:36in the series and I thought they weren't too bad. The only real issue that I had with them in
06:40the past is
06:41essentially they sell you an incomplete-feeling base game, which is really just their platform for
06:46selling you DLC and expansions. I have no idea if that's the plan here, and putting it up on Game
06:51Pass, we'll see. I've also already put a bunch of time into the Elder Scrolls Online, but who knows,
06:56I might drop in again to see what's new there. But mostly I want to hear from you. Are you
07:01interested in any of these games? Are you planning to try any out for yourself? And is there one that
07:06you'd like to see me cover in the review series? Drop it all in the comments. I read all of
07:11them,
07:11so I look forward to hearing your thoughts on it. Also, if the video is helpful, please give it a
07:15like and consider subscribing. On the channel, I drop Game Pass updates along with other gaming news,
07:20but the real focus is on reviews, retrospectives of classics, and walkthroughs on other games.
07:26Thank you so much for taking the time to watch today, and until next time, take care.
