00:00Mr. Pratt, the next mayor of Los Angeles, are you ready for?
00:03I'm ready for whatever God puts in front of me.
00:05And obviously, I was gonna accept whatever God's plan was tonight.
00:09I was gonna be happy if I wasn't moving forward because I would have known God didn't want me to
00:14be the mayor.
00:15But now, I feel very confident that I'm gonna continue to work hard, learn everything I need to learn,
00:21build my teams, show all the experience I'm gonna surround myself with because that's a concern people have.
00:28I'm gonna build that experience around.
00:30We have five months to get the best team the city could ever dream of around me.
00:35So, I got in this because as a citizen, I felt like my city failed, myself, my neighbors, my family.
00:44And when I got on this mission now, I look around and the city's failing most of Los Angeles.
00:50You know, I love debating her on NBC.
00:53I look forward to a couple more on NBC and Fox.
00:56We could do debates every Friday if she would like because it's actually my most favorite thing to do.
01:01So, yes, as many debates as Mayor Bass would like.
01:07Oh, I mean, she knows it's on.
01:09I hope she's ready.
01:11Right now, this idea that it's just we need more beds, I agree.
01:15We're doing events in treatment facilities, mandatory treatment.
01:19That's not jail.
01:20Criminals deserve to go to jail.
01:21If you're abusing animals, you're going to jail.
01:24If you are doing crimes, you're going to jail.
01:27But if you're just an addict addicted to super meth or fentanyl,
01:31I'm gonna get you the mandatory help that these moms come up to me and say,
01:34my daughter is not homeless.
01:36She has a family, but she needs to get off of men.
01:39Well, okay, thanks for coming out.
01:41Okay, I'm going to go get some time.
01:43Thank you, and I'll look back to you, Seth.
01:45Thank you, thank you.
