00:00So this is a new fund and this is from our own budget within the Home Office
00:05but we're announcing how we're spending that money today, spreading it out across those 27 forces
00:10that have the most prevalence of knife crime.
00:13We will be working using that money both to break down the sort of causes of knife crime,
00:21preventing it from happening in the first place, working with young people
00:24but also increasing our policing patrols as you would expect
00:27and CCTV and the policing side as well so that we are cutting down on knife crime for the long
00:34term.
