00:51Let's get to this building.
00:56Let's go!
01:27On Wednesday,
01:28Iran launched ballistic missiles at a U.S. military base in Kuwait.
01:33That's not a headline from a war simulation. That actually happened. Today.
01:38So, what triggered it? What got hit? And is this the start of something much bigger?
01:43The U.S. recently struck Iranian targets, radar installations, drone facilities,
01:49even a communications tower on Sirik Island. Why? Because Iran had shot down an American MQ-1
01:57predator drone over the Persian Gulf. Iran called those U.S. strikes an act of aggression and they
02:03promised to hit back at the source. Today, they followed through. Iran's Revolutionary Guard,
02:10the IRGC, launched ballistic missiles and drones targeting Ali al-Salam Air Base in Kuwait. That's
02:16one of the most critical hubs for U.S. and coalition forces in the entire region. Iranian state media
02:23broadcast footage of missile launches. They called the strikes retaliation for, quote,
02:28hostile actions in the Gulf and Strait of Hormuz and claimed the missiles hit their predicted targets.
02:34Sirens blared across Kuwait. Residents heard explosions. U.S. Central Command says American
02:41and Kuwaiti air defenses intercepted both incoming ballistic missiles. No American fatalities. No major
02:48structural damage to the base. Some troops and contractors reportedly suffered minor injuries
02:53from falling debris, but that was it. Kuwait condemned the attack in the strongest terms.
02:59Their military confirmed they shot down hostile missiles and drones over their own territory,
03:04a sovereign nation that had nothing to do with U.S.-Iran tensions. CENTCOM called it an egregious
03:11ceasefire violation. There is a ceasefire in place. Iran just violated it, openly, deliberately,
03:18and on camera. Oil markets are already reacting. The Strait of Hormuz, through which nearly 20% of the
03:25world's oil flows, is now a live flashpoint. Indirect diplomatic talks are still happening,
03:31but with missiles flying, the gap between diplomacy and war just got a lot narrower. Iran bombed a U.S.
03:39base. The U.S. intercepted it. Nobody died, this time. But the question everyone in Washington,
03:46Tehran, and Kuwait City is asking right now is, what happens next time?
