00:00Actors are stand-ins, writers are stand-ins, dancers are stand-ins, and I think at core we're all trying
00:10to figure out the same things.
00:13We're all equal human beings on this planet, and equal beings, animals included, and spirits included.
00:22We're all in this together. When I think actors are able to tap into the general condition of being alive,
00:35and you talked about reality, in this specific reality that we coexist in,
00:42then I think we can illuminate the journey that we're all on.
00:52It's funny, I look at myself as a young man, my son is an actor now, and I see early
00:58things that I have done.
01:01I'm not the same person, there's a continuity there, but I can still see a human being.
01:07And that's what we relate to, is just seeing a human being that says, oh, yeah, I can relate to
01:12that, which immediately opens your heart.
01:16I think you were referring to the world we live in now.
01:19The problems come when we can't relate to each other as human beings, obviously.
01:23We don't see ourselves in others.
01:26This movie medium presents the world as us, and when it does, the communication is complete and mysterious.
01:35As in life, you know, when you see the other as ourselves, the problems go away, naturally.
