New details have emerged in the tragic killing of 18-year-old Southampton student Henry Nowak through police bodycam footage released during the investigation. Authorities found that the attacker, Vickrum Digwa, falsely claimed he was the victim of a racist assault after the stabbing. Digwa has since been sentenced to life in prison and must serve at least 21 years behind bars. Henry’s family said they blame only the killer for their son’s death but criticized the way police treated him after the attack. Hampshire Police has apologized, and the incident is now under independent review.
