00:02It was big for Bub. It had like a piano on his back.
00:08We've been trying to talk him off, even the crowd, right?
00:11They're getting behind him. He was a regional MVP, I think, last year as a freshman
00:17in this Auburn regional.
00:21And that really got, that busted the game open.
00:25That got something that really gave us length.
00:27We got the solo home run, but then that was a big swing,
00:31and we tacked on a couple more.
00:32That was the big part of that five-run deal.
00:36And he's already got a big smile, but he had a pretty big smile after that
00:40the rest of the way.
00:43That's what young players are learning, is you can't, you have to finish things.
00:47You can't be sad in the middle of the deal.
00:49And I was grabbing him and Brandon McCrane a little bit,
00:52and I got a couple more I got to grab tonight.
00:54But at the same time, these are lessons.
00:57They have this for life, however they operated through that.
01:01Bub's got a regional MVP, and he's got one where he's fighting it,
01:04and then you get to the last game, and he gets one of the biggest swings off
01:08that bounces over the first baseman's head and makes a difference.
01:11So I just, you know, the longer you get to play a season,
01:15the longer a guy gets to play at this level,
01:18the stronger the individual gets and the stronger the team gets.
01:21I think and hope we needed a week weekend like that.
01:26We've been fighting for a long time,
01:27but we needed to do something like that to come out as a stronger team.
01:32And I don't know what the turnaround will be.
01:34We'll be hosting our second super regional in history here,
01:37back-to-back years.
01:39But that's going to pay dividends for what they had to go through this week at some point.
