00:01Well, Mr. Prime Minister, it's great to have you here.
00:05You've been a good friend and a great ally, and it's my pleasure to welcome you to the White House.
00:11And have a chance to replace some of the hospitality that you extended to me,
00:19and you've been one of the closest allies we've had in responding to the seamless brutality of Putin.
00:26And I just think that your cooperation, and sometimes at a greater cost than to others,
00:36to take on Putin and what's going on in Ukraine has been really incredible.
00:42Thank you. Thank you.
00:44Let me say that it's a great pleasure to be with you here today.
00:50Thanks for this invitation. Thanks for this magnificent hospitality.
00:56And our two countries, the ties between our two countries have always been very strong.
01:02And if anything, this war in Ukraine made them stronger.
01:07I agree.
01:09If Putin ever thought that he could divide us, he'd fail.
01:14There's no question about that.
01:17We stand together in condemning the invasion of Ukraine.
01:24And the other thing I would want to say, just at the opening,
01:28and I don't think we will discuss this later,
01:30but what happened in Ukraine is going to bring a drastic change in the European Union.
01:36We've always been close.
01:39Now we're going to be much closer.
01:42And I know I can count on your support as a true friend of Europe and of Italy, of course.
01:51Putin really believed he could split us.
01:54And we've all stepped up.
01:58I believe that a strong European Union is in the interest of the United States.
02:04Granted, it adds competition economically, but it's good.
02:07It's good.
02:08And...
