00:02So we have reached 2 million Ukrainian refugees in 12 days and most of the countries that they're
00:10going to are Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, the Republic of Moldova, Romania, other European
00:17countries as well and the Russian Federation and Belarus. There are 1.2 million in Poland
00:24and then significant numbers in other countries. As I mentioned, Hungary, Slovakia, the Republic of
00:30Moldova and other European countries and also Russia. Russia, we have 99,300. Turning my attention
00:37to Mariupol in particular, we have a situation here where hundreds of thousands of people are
00:43trapped in this city in dire, dire conditions, fast running out of food, clean water, needed medical
00:53supplies. The situation is atrocious. We are, we stand ready to act in terms of our neutral
01:00intermediary role to facilitate the safe passage of civilians out of the city. But the bottom line
01:07today is that this situation is really apocalyptic for people. It is getting worse. They are running
01:13out of essential supplies. And so our call today is really for life-saving aid to reach these people.
01:22We have by now verified 16 such reports that unfortunately left nine people dead, 16 injured,
01:31some of them health workers. Now these attacks are violation of international humanitarian law and it
01:38also deprived a population of basic health services. And these attacks must stop. This is something that is
01:48unacceptable health care facilities should be safe. Heavens where people will not only receive medical care,
01:56but will feel safe.
