00:00We basically have a series of major announcements and they're pretty major. Let's focus on the first processor for Windows
00:05PCs. How significant is this?
00:07Well, NVIDIA has built their franchise in AI really by selling these graphical processor units, GPUs for data centers. And
00:16that's been a booming business for them. Tens of billions of dollars. Most valuable company in the world. Their market
00:21cap now is above five trillion dollars. But as you're seeing, that's not enough for Jensen Wong. He wants to
00:27expand into a few different areas.
00:29That includes now into the PC space where he wants to compete with Intel in particular with these chips to
00:35be able to run PCs. As you mentioned, they're going to begin with Dell and Lenovo in particular with RT
00:40Spark super chip, as Jensen calls it.
00:43He's going to see whether he's able going to be able to compete with Intel and AMD in that PC
00:48space right now. Now, it's a new area for them.
00:51They need to not just demonstrate that these are good chips, they're effective chips and that they're they're going to
00:56be able to power the PCs in the way that consumers want them to.
01:00But also they want to show that they're good long term partners with these companies to be able to build
01:04the relationships so they'll trust them to be able to use those chips and then use them over the long
01:09term.
01:10So that's one of the bigger challenges for Jensen.
01:12And Peter, Jensen Wong also said that agentic AI had arrived, but also argued that, you know, AI won't threaten
01:18employment.
01:19What's his point here?
01:20Well, there are a lot of concerns about how much AI is going to threaten employment, of course.
01:25So that's one of the issues that he's addressed repeatedly over the past.
01:28I don't know that the data is clear, clear in his favor at this point, but he makes the case
01:33that AI is not going to eliminate these jobs.
01:36In fact, it's going to be useful.
01:37But he's also heralded heralding this age of AI agents that are going to be able to help you do
01:43a bunch of more things.
01:44And we're seeing companies and individuals experiment with AI and AI agents in a whole bunch of different ways.
01:50In some cases, yes, of course, they are eliminating jobs.
01:53I think we don't know net net whether that's going to be a loss or a gain.
