Seven people were injured after a tour bus carrying 36 Nepali passengers overturned in a collision involving another tour bus and an SUV on the Genting Highlands–Genting Sempah downhill road on Saturday (May 30) evening.

00:10of the Genting Highlands to Genting Sampa downhill road on Saturday evening.
00:14Pahang Fire and Rescue Department Operations and Rescue Division Assistant Director Mohamed Salahuddin Isa said the department received an emergency
00:23call at 5.29pm and a team from the Genting Highlands Fire and Rescue Station was immediately dispatched to the
00:31scene.
00:31One of the buses carrying 36 Nepali passengers overturned in the crash, leaving six passengers injured. The remaining passengers escaped
00:40unharmed.
00:41The second tour bus, carrying 34 passengers from Bangladesh and Nepal, was also involved in the accident, but none of
00:49its occupants were injured.
00:51Mohamed Salahuddin said one of the three occupants of the SUV sustained injuries, while the other two escaped unhurt.
00:59All those involved managed to exit their vehicles before firefighters arrived.
01:04Firefighters provided first aid to the injured before handing them over to health ministry personnel for transport to the hospital.
01:11They also carried out cleanup operations to remove an oil spill and ensure the road was safe for other motorists.
01:19Brentong Police Chief Superintendent Zaiham Mohamed Kahar confirmed the incident and said investigations are underway to determine the cause of

01:28The accident caused major traffic congestion along the downhill stretch, temporarily bringing traffic to a standstill.
01:35The queue of vehicles stretched as far as the new Toll Plaza at the foot of the mountain.
