00:15in Ayer Itam on Monday morning. The incident occurred at about 7.24 a.m. when the bus
00:22ferrying workers home from a factory reportedly suffered brake failure while traveling from
00:28Kampung Jawa towards Paya Terubong. Fire and rescue personnel from the Paya Terubong station
00:34arrived at the scene at 7.34 a.m. and began rescue operations to free those trapped inside.
00:41All 30 occupants, including the driver, were successfully evacuated. The six injured passengers,
00:47all Indonesian nationals, suffered minor injuries to the face, hands and legs. They were handed over
00:54to Health Ministry ambulance personnel and taken to hospital for treatment. Firefighters also cleared
01:01accident debris to ensure the area was safe before ending the operation at 8.27 a.m.
