00:00I'm not going to back the Pirates or any of these other teams because they can spend money if they
00:04want to,
00:05but it's really, really hard to beat the Dodgers when they can just go and put the thumb on the
00:08scale
00:09and do whatever the hell they want.
00:10My thing that I keep coming back to is I understand what everyone's upset with the Dodgers.
00:15Shohei Otani should never have played for more than one organization.
00:18The Braves and whatever happened with Freddie Freeman, that was royally screwed up.
00:22You look at Betts and the Red Sox.
00:24How many different organizations does that group own, and Betts is able to go play somewhere else?
00:30There is certainly, at this point, a point to be made about how the Dodgers have an advantage over everyone
00:36and how they spend their money to have an advantage.
00:38But the core that's been put in place here for the Dodgers to win and win and win and win
00:42has been done so in part because other teams in baseball have decided,
00:47you know what, this generational talent, I'm good without paying you.
00:52This guy, I'm not going to keep this guy around.
00:54Betts should never have been anything other than a Red Sox.
01:08I don't know.
01:27The Dodgers and pronouns are you willing to have done so much unemployment and income?
01:29Now I'm gonna catch up, and I'm picking the four people off.
