00:19is the Belmont steaks yeah and whether or not we've already seen it or we're
00:25gonna see it there's a drink that goes in the Belmont steaks like it's the
00:29official drink the way that the mint julep is the official drink we missed
00:34that one we're gonna make up for it though for the Belmont right what's the
00:40name of the drink it is I've got a lot of people don't know that they always think
00:46of the Kentucky Derby that has a drink associated with it I know I didn't know
00:51it and I love horses and I love drinking horses horses horses I was in it it's such
00:58a simple drink yeah and it's like it's gonna be a really good summer drink for
01:02people because it's because it involves lemonade and we happen to have it by the way
01:08you we had all of this in there we just happen to have some lemonade we happen to
01:13have some pomegranate juice and this is not so surprising we happen to have whiskey
01:20yeah a lot of it and I'm pulling out the good old reliable Evan Williams straight
01:29from Kentucky yeah for this New York Belmont right there Belmont jewel oh wait LBF we
01:39needed ice so every you know can I complain a little bit about allergies first of all
01:44it was cold which was annoying and Memorial Day weekend was but now it's nice out and I
01:55can't breathe and I my throat is all scratchy my ears itch and and I've never had allergies
02:01and my brother who grew up with allergies who we made fun of because I called him up and I
02:05was like
02:06is this just how you feel like crap all the time and he's like so there's that okay we got
02:10ice what
02:10she said yeah and so all you do you get yourself a nice rocks glass yeah fill it with ice

02:17regular ice just regular ice regular okay and now we're gonna do what'd you do with my whiskey
02:26my bourbon oh did you talk a little bit about the future whiskey we already did that

02:37bourbon okay so that recipe calls for one and a half ounces we're doing two ounces because
02:44anything to get rid of my allergies we're doing two ounces of bourbon we're gonna do two ounces of
02:53that's all we have left because Lucy drank all Newman's own lemonade pink because we're classy whoa
03:01and then we're gonna do one ounce of you okay I'm not well of pomegranate but whenever I'm sick my
03:11mother always says have some tequila so I guess bourbon's the next best thing and that's it that's
03:19one two three and that's what's what I love about this recipe that's what I like about the salad
03:24now we're just gonna put some ice in there and we're gonna shake it up okay

03:48and it does come with a nice fat crunch that I will prepare but here
04:00sometimes you get that nice click not that time okay so and then just just strain it right into
04:08your fresh ice in that glass I kind of want to go like this that would be a mess that
04:15I had to clean up
04:21a little red tone from the pomegranate then we're gonna take a nice big little lemon that's from Costco
04:26by the way the lemon is as big as your head
04:31and we're just gonna cut I like to cut the edges off first maybe one day we can do a
04:36lemon fruit
04:37cutting segment LBF what do you think of that without cutting your finger off you almost cut your finger
04:42off I did not did didn't what do you say about me with knives you're reckless with a knife that's

04:51no idea anyway and then uh be nice with sharp knives and um
05:01and then you just stick that right on the the edge there look at that look at that hold that
