00:08Like in the audition process, we all assume that there's this massive theater
00:12where it looks that way, where there's this jam with people constantly
00:15or all hanging out to watch these people audition and so on and so forth.
00:18You were saying that a lot of those take place during the day.
00:21Oh, yeah.
00:22Which kind of blows my mind.
00:24You do great research.
00:25I don't even remember talking about this.
00:27But, yeah, so they kind of bring all these people in
00:31because they're just in Pasadena and they just are getting people off the street.
00:35Like when they hand out passes, like go for the prices right or whatever.
00:38Yeah, like cattle calling these people.
00:39And they do two a day for two weeks.
00:42So you're watching, you think it's like prime time.
00:46Yeah.
00:46It's like 1.45 p.m.
00:48And they just have these family members who are just getting Cold Stone Creamery.
00:52And they booked me because they were like, we want someone to be edgy.
00:55Like do your edgiest jokes.
00:56And they picked out these edgy jokes for me.

00:58And then meanwhile, I'm going on stage.
01:00And it's like 40 people in a full auditorium, you know.
01:05But they have the 40 people like around the judges table.

01:10And then they cut in other footage.
01:11I'm sure the actual like live shows, those are full.
01:14Yeah.
01:14But they can't sustain that for that many shows.
01:17So I'm like going on stage and like, and it was during COVID.
01:20So I wasn't holding.
01:22So I didn't even know what the crowd looked like until they took me out.
01:25So I was like, I'm like, you know, I'm like, all right, here we go.
01:28It's the big auditorium.
01:29And like, I'm still grateful.
01:30But it was just funny to go like, ta-da.
01:33And then it's just like 30 people like, wait, what's going on?
01:35And then I do these edgy jokes.
01:37And it's families like looking at me like, what's going on?
01:39They cut it up real nicely, but it was definitely a weird, awkward.
