00:18about the sort of pictures that are coming out and really a show of strength and indication
00:23of solidarity within the Congress party because it was a challenge for them to make it look
00:29like a smooth transition to ensure no factional differences take place and they have been
00:36successful at that.
00:42Absolutely, everything is going according to the plan of the High Command and if you notice
00:46that even this picture clearly indicates the show of solidarity of all this leader where
00:52everybody is having a lunch together, Siddharamaya, DKS Shukumar and Siddharamaya son, Yathindra
00:57Siddharamaya and KS Muniappa, the cabinet minister from Karnataka and everybody is having a lunch
01:01and not only this picture, we have also got access to the other picture earlier when there
01:06was a one-on-one meeting with Rahul Gandhi, both DKS Shukumar and Siddharamaya were sitting
01:12to each other and they were talking to each other.
01:14This clearly shows that though they have differences when it comes to in front of media, when it
01:19comes to public life, they have put up a united show.
01:22They worked together and not only brought the party to power in 2023 but also ensured that
01:30there was a smooth administration in the state of Karnataka.
01:33Yes, there were statements which were made by his loyalists but these two, DKS Shukumar
01:39and Siddharamaya always maintained that whatever the High Command is going to instruct them,
01:44they are going to follow.
01:45And accordingly, this picture is the best example of whatever they have been reiterated time
01:51and again.
01:54Oh yes, absolutely.
01:56And that is the very reason that we continue to see pictures like this that have been coming
02:00in but largely like we said that it is an indication of solidarity not just within the
02:06Karnataka Congress but even with the top leadership to ensure that there is no sort of a fallout
02:12because there are adversities especially the BJP in Karnataka that not just through an open
02:17challenge to say that they will not be able to complete the whole term but have been calling
02:22out the differences between DKS and Siddharamaya but the two leaders indicating there that it
02:30is a very smooth transition of power.
02:32So, DKS who sought the blessings of Siddharamaya, he also sought the blessings of Malikarjun Karge,
02:37DKS and Siddharamaya who have been together through this entire period of transition from that
02:42breakfast meeting to even lunching together to the meetings that have happened in Delhi and Karnataka
02:48to the CLP meeting that will happen tomorrow to the media briefing that they did together to even meeting
02:55the governor together. So, largely the two leaders who have been together at it and even at that one
03:01Siddharamaya where Siddharamaya has demanded plump posts for his key loyalists and certainly an
03:08adjustment that the top leadership and even DKS will be working through of course who will get what
03:14is something that we need confirmation on but all that is has the leaders in agreement or should
03:23or will have them in agreement.
03:29There are a lot of calculations which should be done. In fact, if you notice that when we spoke
03:33to a few of the cabinet ministers, they had mentioned to us that during 2023 election results when all
03:41these cabinet ministers were in Delhi when they met the high command, high command had clearly instructed
03:46them stating that these cabinet ministers will be in power for two and a half years and the entire
03:52cabinet will be changed after two and a half years but still there are a lot of dynamics which has
03:57been
03:57changed now. There are cost calculation, there are the other calculation which should be done,
04:04people who have already got an opportunity, there are more than 40 first-timer MLAs from the state of
04:11Karnataka from Congress party alone and apart from that there are senior leaders who have not got an
04:16opportunity last time, so there are a lot of calculation which should be done and first and foremost will be
04:21the
04:21cost calculation, how we are going to accommodate OBC, how we are going to accommodate Lingayat,
04:26Vakkaliga and minorities. So these are a big headache for them but they have sailed through all those things
04:33in the previous cabinet expansion and probably even now they will do their calculation and probably end of
04:40the day we'll get to know who are the front-runners, who are the aspirants who got the cabinet birth
