00:00Homeland Security Secretary Mark Wayne Mullen says local authorities in sanctuary city airports
00:04have basically blocked immigration and customs enforcement agents from
00:07deporting what he called the worst of the worst. His solution? Well, he shared it with Sean
00:13Hannity on Fox News. We're currently drawing up plans to say, listen, in these sanctuary cities
00:18where the local radical left Democrats aren't allowing us to do our job and enforce federal
00:25laws, then we shouldn't be processing international flights into their cities either because
00:30they don't want us to enforce immigration, but they want us to process immigration at their
00:36facilities. Nothing about that makes sense to me. Essentially, the secretary wants to pull ice from
00:41airports in sanctuary cities, places like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Seattle, cities with massive
00:48international airports. As you might imagine, that will make international travel a huge headache.
00:53Last year, about 50 million international passengers came into or out of the three major New York
00:59City airports alone. And that's just one of the cities being targeted. It's not a popular suggestion.
01:05Airlines and even Mullen's own colleague, Department of Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, are
01:09very much against the idea. We have people from around the world and around the country that need
01:13to be able to fly into all different kinds of places. We shouldn't we shouldn't shut down air
01:17travel in a in a state that doesn't agree with our politics.
