00:37:52ДИНАМИЧНАЯ МУЗЫКА
00:37:54Джейvon Miller.
00:37:55And Bush, too, he also has that ability to make everybody better.
00:37:58Yeah.
00:37:59And that's a sign of what I think is an all-world type of player.
00:38:04We saw his performance at the Olympics.
00:38:06We saw it last year at the Four Nations.
00:38:09He's that type of player and I think has proven it here
00:38:11with the way he's fit in nicely there in Vegas.
00:38:14And sometimes it takes a little longer in the regular season.
00:38:16It's a new home and, you know, the timing of when you get your game together
00:38:19is critically important.
00:38:21And I think for Vegas, you know, maybe not as strong a regular season
00:38:27as we've seen in years past, and they make the coaching change,
00:38:30but Gardner certainly...
00:38:31Yeah, and unhealthy, too, in their bullpen position.
00:38:33Yeah, absolutely.
00:38:35And their heart has been sensational.
00:38:38And when you've got a guy like Jack Eifel,
00:38:39who's as good as any 200-foot center raceman in the entire league,
00:38:44you're in a pretty good spot.
00:38:47Here comes Jarvis, moving in on Dolbass.
00:38:50Jarvis, teach, how to stop.
00:38:54Dolbass has stopped a couple of breakaways tonight.
00:38:58That's the golf fan on the shot attempt.
00:39:00Here comes Carrier.
00:39:03And Gouley struggling getting off the ice again.
00:39:05That's about the third time tonight he's had a difficult time.
00:39:10Getting off the ice, and he doesn't even use the door there.
00:39:12He just barely gets over the boards.
00:39:16I'm so impressed with watching him in this series
00:39:19and all these playoffs.
00:39:20Dane and Gouley has played outstanding for the Canadiens.
00:39:25Yeah, or already, he is the door either.
00:39:27He joined Boos.
00:39:29Knocked over the boards between the benches.
00:39:32By the way, Montreal, no shots during the third period.
00:39:40Carolina with eight.
00:39:46Got by Gankowski.
00:39:48He is covered up by Dolbass.
00:39:54Well, Seth Jarvis gets the breakaway almost from the red line in.
00:39:59Beautiful pass here by Svechnikov.
00:40:02A little off center.
00:40:07Just makes that move a little bit too late.
00:40:10And not able to get any opportunity at any elevation.
00:40:15Excuse me.
00:40:16And then Gouley goes in.
00:40:18And then Svechnikov, that's just a good, hard, solid hit.
00:40:23And that bench only looks like it's about 100 feet away there, Bush.
00:40:29But when you're skating, it feels like it's a mile after you get rocked like that.
00:40:34Certainly feels like he's taken a lot of big hits here as this series has worn on.
00:40:40Here's Carrier for Gankowski.
00:40:43Gankowski met by Valeno.
00:40:46Here's Robinson with a shot.
00:40:49And Robich backs on once again.
00:40:53This past the midway point, third period in Montreal.
00:41:02This final before, but as Jacob Slavin told me this morning,
00:41:05this might be the most connected and composed group that's ever been here.
00:41:09He told me this morning, in the past,
00:41:11they weren't able to be as patient as we've seen them be in this series.
00:41:15Even when they've played well in this position in the past,
00:41:18when they weren't getting that big goal in the big moment,
00:41:21they would step outside of their structure, take silly penalty,
00:41:25not be who they are and playing to their strengths.
00:41:28He said that's totally different this year.
00:41:29They are much more comfortable being uncomfortable.
00:41:31And even though games two and three required overtime,
00:41:34despite their dominant play, it's a position they were comfortable in.
00:41:37Whatever it takes, they're comfortable doing whatever the game is asking them to do.
00:41:42That's Jackie Hurricanes with a 3-0 lead tonight.
00:41:48During the regular season, Brandon Bussey won 41 games.
00:41:54As Anderson clubs this puck,
00:41:57Miller coming together with Josh Anderson.
00:42:00I want to go back to that play by Seth Jarvis.
00:42:02And, Boosh, I want your point of view from the goaltender here.
00:42:05Like, when you're Jarvis, when you are making this fake,
00:42:08if you could get this puck and pull it away from the goaltender,
00:42:14because then that's going to give you more of an angle to get that puck elevated.
00:42:18Because when he goes on this path, the elevation is much more difficult
00:42:23because you end up getting so close to the goaltender.
00:42:26So move it away laterally.
00:42:28Come across your body, and then you have a better chance to elevate your puck.
00:42:32Yeah, and for a goaltender, obviously, if he takes it away, it becomes much more difficult.
00:42:36And you've got to be a little bit more handsy.
00:42:38Perhaps with your blocker, you go out to try and meet the puck.
00:42:41Or if it's to the glove side, get your glove above your pad so that if he does elevate,
00:42:46you can try and take away that angle.
00:42:48There's no question.
00:42:49If he gets it away from the goaltender, much more difficult of a save for the goaltender.
00:42:54It doesn't feel comfortable as a skater in that situation
00:43:00when you bring that puck across your body when your shoulders are at the net.
00:43:06But it gives you a lot more leverage,
00:43:08and it gives you an opportunity to beat that goaltender.
00:43:12You're basing on the move you're going to make.
00:43:15Is the goaltender keeping his blue paint?
00:43:18Or is he out high?
00:43:20Because if he's out high, you're going to try to fake him and then beat him far.
00:43:24And if he's very deep, more chances than not, you're going to end up shooting the puck.
00:43:28So it all depends on the depth of the goaltender of where he is compared to the blue paint.
00:43:34There's Stahl.
00:43:35His shot blocked.
00:43:37Wynow and Dobson.
00:43:39Kenny, after that, Bruce should get a silver slugger award like you got last night in the work there.
00:43:45I think Bruce got it when he said he had a tall record for consecutive shutouts.
00:43:50In fact, he got to take home the net.
00:43:55I did.
00:43:56Put it in the backseat.
00:43:58Bruce should just strap it to the roof of the car there.
00:44:00Those nets are a lot bigger than you think when you get them in real life.
00:44:04If you don't realize, you know, when you're on the ice, how big they really are.
00:44:09By the way, Bruce has told us the story.
00:44:12Coyotes got him in the net.
00:44:13And then they traded him a couple of days later.
00:44:15It was literally like a day or two later.
00:44:19But Bruce, I just mentioned, Bussie won 31 games during the regular season.
00:44:23He started four more than Anderson.
00:44:25It's been Anderson in every game here in the postseason.
00:44:29His 12th start tonight, he's allowed 19 goals in those 12 games.
00:44:34Five in the opener of this series.
00:44:35How impressed did he get?
00:44:37I mean, think about it.
00:44:38You know, you have an off regular season.
00:44:41You probably have some doubts as to whether or not you will be the guy when the playoffs start.
00:44:45And give credit to Rod Brindamore.
00:44:47I mean, to know what he had in Freddie Anderson,
00:44:50that perhaps a better rest at Anderson was the better option.
00:44:55And there really has not been a moment in these playoffs where you would think to even go to Brandon
00:44:59Bussie.
00:45:00I mean, he did give up the five goals in game one.
00:45:04But there was never a thought like, oh my goodness, now we're going to change gears and go to Brandon
00:45:08Bussie.
00:45:09I think Rod Brindamore understands with a veteran guy like Anderson, he knows what his role is.
00:45:14I think he's comfortable.
00:45:15Hank talked about it.
00:45:15He's comfortable playing in situations where he doesn't get a lot of work,
00:45:19but he's able to come up with timely saves.
00:45:21And I think the big hurdle for this hurricane group and for Freddie Anderson is the conference final.
00:45:27They've run into roadblocks.
00:45:29And right now they don't seem to be hitting a bump in the road.
00:45:31Aside from game one, they found a way to right the ship.
00:45:34And Anderson's been a big part of it.
00:45:36Rod is coming into this series, Bussie.
00:45:39Anderson's career record in the conference final was just 4-10.
00:45:42And don't think for one minute that that's not in the back of your head.
00:45:45I mean, you know that you've had those struggles.
00:45:47And for him, it was critically important for him to kind of face those head-on
00:45:52and do what he's doing right now, which is be a difference maker in this series.
00:45:58That was Jake Evans that last shift.
00:46:00Had a chance to fire it.
00:46:01The crowd here in Montreal.
00:46:04Montreal wanting the home team to put the puck to the net.
00:46:15They did not have a shot here in the third period.
00:46:1915 to the game.
00:46:2012 and 13 in games 2 and 3.
00:46:25Remember, they won game 7 at Tampa with only 9 shots on goal.
00:46:29Stan Colvin stopped by Dolbysh.
00:46:41He's got a chance, and he was already spinning, Bussie.
00:46:44I think, in fairness, to Jake Evans, the way his hips were positioned,
00:46:49he wasn't in any position to shoot that puck.
00:46:51And I think the crowd just saw him open there,
00:46:54and he obviously did not.
00:46:57And that got everybody all excited.
00:47:02There are the numbers over the last three games.
00:47:05And very quiet on this Canadiens bench.
00:47:07It's been this way pretty much since the first period.
00:47:17Luck deflects out of play.
00:47:19Down to 6.
00:47:2029 remaining.
00:47:23The quest begins with the Buffalo Sabres.
00:47:26Believe in yourself.
00:47:27Believe in your teammates.
00:47:28Go behind the scenes with one team.
00:47:30It's all about this hunger.
00:47:31For each round of the Stanley Cup playoffs.

00:47:40Dayton Gouley on the Canadiens.
00:47:42Trailing 3-0.
00:47:44They do not have a goal from a forward other than Josh Anderson since Game 1.
00:47:50Anderson scored twice in Game 2.
00:47:53Defensemen had both goals for Montreal in Game 3.
00:47:56Good stick there, Gouley.
00:47:59Steelers was open.
00:48:00Marco trying to get it to him.
00:48:06You can hear one of the officials.

00:48:17Spooley battling with Bartnook.
00:48:18Now Slavkovsky on the puck for Montreal.
00:48:21Other 6 remaining.
00:48:23No shots in the period for the Canadiens.
00:48:24They trail by 3.
00:48:32Fans getting restless.
00:48:33Chance of shooting the puck.
00:48:35Their team in danger of falling behind.
00:48:373 games to 1.

00:49:46Go hustle there by Josh Anderson.
00:49:50Oh, Nikisha with a high hit on Anderson.
00:49:53Keep an eye on those two.
00:49:54They've been going out.
00:49:55Oh, man.
00:49:56Anderson with a high hit.
00:50:00That was on Carrier.
00:50:13I thought that should have been a penalty on Nikisha Bosh.
00:50:16It was up high and then right from here.
00:50:19Anderson says, you know what?
00:50:21You're not going to call that one.
00:50:22I'm going to take one here.
00:50:26I'll be honest.
00:50:27I don't mind that because Nikisha took a liberty on him.
00:50:29The official didn't call it.
00:50:47Power play number six for Carolina.
00:50:50Fifth straight penalty taken by the Canadians.
00:50:57Anderson called for the last two.
00:51:00Newhook trying to get it through to Evans.
00:51:03Carolina opened the scoring on a power play tonight.
00:51:05Stan Colton with the pass across.
00:51:07Now, wait for the shot.
00:51:08Blocked by Carrier and cleared by Newhook.
00:51:10Excellent shot there by Carrier.
00:51:15Now, after five minutes remaining,
00:51:17who will win the Eastern Conference final?
00:51:18You can see the predictions at the top of your screen now.
00:51:22Thanks to Kalshi.
00:51:24And Eddie, as you know,
00:51:26market-derived probabilities may add up to more or less than 100%,
00:51:32but in this case, it is exactly 100%.
00:51:42There it comes on the power play.
00:51:44Just over a minute remaining on the Anderson minor.
00:51:47Blake blocked off by Deneau.
00:51:49Now it comes to Miller.
00:51:52And now Healers with a drive.
00:51:54Long rebound.
00:51:55Backhand shot.
00:51:56Blocked by Evans.
00:51:57Gouley saved the goal.
00:51:58Gouley.
00:51:58Yeah, Gouley saved the goal here.
00:52:02Taylor Hall, I think he broke his stick.
00:52:09Gouley goes down.
00:52:10Dobish is out.
00:52:11Hull gets a lot on it.
00:52:14I think he actually broke his stick as he was shooting.
00:52:17And the stick looked like it was.
00:52:22It's kind of looked like there was a wardrobe malfunction.
00:52:30It was either broken, Boucher,
00:52:31or you blame the stick.
00:52:32Yeah, I'm trying to go with blaming the stick, too.
00:52:34I'm not going to play there by Gouley.
00:52:36Yeah.
00:52:36Always blame the stick, Boucher.
00:52:38Not the sticky.
00:52:42Stump by Jarvis.
00:52:43Missed the net.
00:52:44Now Spestikoff.
00:52:4635 seconds remaining on the power play for Carolina.
00:52:49Good stick there from Evans.
00:52:52Other four minutes remaining.
00:52:54Well, it came with three first-period goals
00:52:57in the span of 2 minutes 47 seconds.
00:53:04Well, Montreal barring the miraculous comeback.
00:53:08The danger of falling behind three games to one.
00:53:10The save made by Dobish on Jarvis.
00:53:12Jarvis has had, what, five or six chances in this game?
00:53:15There's another stop by Dobish.
00:53:17Let's make it seven.
00:53:18We're in a breakaway.
00:53:19Ajo with a shot.
00:53:20Block or save, Dobish?
00:53:23The shots are now 40 to 15.
00:53:2616-0 in the third period.
00:53:30Yeah, 16 shots for Carolina.
00:53:32Not for Montreal.
00:53:36Well, showing their appreciation for Dobish.
00:53:42Well, Dobish will clear the puck out himself.
00:53:47And everybody thought he was maybe going to get a shot at Golden or himself there, I think.
00:53:51That's what it felt like.
00:53:53Suzuki first shot of the period from Montreal.
00:53:5717 minutes in.
00:53:59I have a crowd reaction to that.
00:54:01Yeah, they're going to give the Canadian version of the Bronx cheer.
00:54:08Up here in Montreal.
00:54:10I don't know if that's the Shakutami cheer or...
00:54:13Sherwinnegan or Laval?
00:54:15Bouchard?
00:54:16Verdun?
00:54:17Well, when you talk about championships,
00:54:19Canadians and the Yankees often compared to one another, so...
00:54:24And Dobish is going to get a breather here.
00:54:26Down 3-0.
00:54:27Marty St. Louis pulls his goaltender.
00:54:30Wow.
00:54:31Hear those numbers, Kenny.
00:54:34No shots faced.
00:54:3618 starts.
00:54:37Goaltender out.
00:54:38Extra attacker for the...
00:54:41Canadians.
00:54:43And now on the throw with Stahl.
00:54:46Grace for the puck.
00:54:47It's rolling wide in the empty net.
00:54:53A little interference there by Hudson on Marko.
00:54:56Excuse me, Carrier.
00:54:58Oh, that was Marko.
00:55:01Two and a half remaining.
00:55:04Six skaters on the ice for the Canadians.
00:55:07Their net is empty.
00:55:08They have faced elimination twice in this postseason.
00:55:11Won two game sevens.
00:55:13Both on the road.
00:55:15With Tampa and Buffalo.
00:55:20With a long, storied history of this franchise, they have never lost four straight home games in a single postseason.
00:55:29Off the bar.
00:55:30That was Healers.
00:55:33That was Healers.
00:55:33There's Suzuki.
00:55:35And champion.
00:55:37Two minutes remaining.
00:55:42And now, Smiths McGoff capitalizes.
00:55:45Into the empty net.
00:55:47Healers can laugh about it.
00:55:51After he came close seconds earlier.
00:55:54Four nothing.
00:55:55Carolina.
00:55:56Oh, Healers looking for his third of the series.
00:56:01Puts it off the crossbar.
00:56:02Comes back to the bench.
00:56:03Having a good laugh with Jordan Stahl.
00:56:05And then he gets to watch.
00:56:09Svechnikov put that one away.
00:56:11And for Svechnikov, his second of the series.
00:56:14He scored the game winner in overtime in game three.
00:56:17And it's been all Carolina here tonight in game four.
00:56:32That's the Cubs' third goal in the postseason.
00:56:34So Carolina, three goals late in the first period, took control.
00:56:41And they will take a three games to one lead over the Montreal Canadiens.
00:56:46Game five.
00:56:48Friday night in Raleigh right here on TNT.
00:56:51Hurricanes will become the seventh team all time to win their first six road games in one postseason.
00:57:04Anderson watched the puck around.
00:57:06Here's Stan Colvin.
00:57:07Now Blake.
00:57:10Carolina with goals in the first three from Ajo on the power play.
00:57:13Then Stahl.
00:57:14Then Stan Colvin.
00:57:15Three minutes, 47 seconds apart.
00:57:18Toss the spirit.
00:57:19Not going at it in front of the net.
00:57:24They continue to have words.
00:57:30What's the pressure the most, Eddie, about what you've seen from Carolina, not only here tonight, but over the last
00:57:35three games?
00:57:35Just relentless.
00:57:38It seems like they have six guys on the ice when the Canadiens have five.
00:57:42It seems like every time they turn, there's no chance to breathe anywhere.
00:57:49I think the decision-making by the defense is the key against Carolina.
00:57:55There comes Walker.
00:57:57Drop is blocked.
00:57:59We're back across.
00:58:02And Robes covers.
00:58:04And now sticks and gloves come up.
00:58:07And Struble grabs Jankowski.
00:58:13And then you got Robinson tied up.
00:58:17With Cooley.
00:58:25They just seem to be as one all over the ice.
00:58:30There's really been no chance, Bruce, from up top for the Canadiens to have any opportunities off the rush.
00:58:37Which is one of the Canadiens' strengths in five-on-five.
00:58:40They just haven't been able to get out of their zone clean enough.
00:58:43And when you don't have the speed, you can't play off the rush.
00:58:47And it makes it awfully frustrating.
00:58:49You just can't help but wonder, you know, the amount of games that they've played this game.
00:58:56Number 18 tonight.
00:58:58How much gas is left in the tank for the Canadiens?
00:59:00Certainly some frustration.
00:59:01And, you know, I often thought to myself, you know, where was maybe some of this earlier from the Canadiens?
00:59:08But an unwillingness to really try to drag Carolina into the fight.
00:59:14We saw it in years past with Florida.
00:59:16I thought, you know, they were able to get Carolina off their game.
00:59:19But Carolina really not buying any of it.
00:59:23As the Canadiens are showing frustration with 16 seconds to go.
00:59:27And you wonder how they will respond when they get back to Raleigh.
00:59:32As we look at our Chipotle real difference maker.
00:59:34Shane Goss' bear on the power play.
00:59:36Able to get things started.
00:59:38An assist on the out-hole goal.
00:59:39Then the huge shot block on the Lane Hudson attempt.
00:59:42Gets the love and affection from his teammates.
00:59:45As Blake goes down two-on-one with Logan Stankovic.
00:59:48And Stankovic scores his first of the series.
00:59:52And everybody was appreciative of Shane Goss' bear's efforts.
00:59:56Three blocks to assist.
00:59:58I think the defensive end difference makers all the way around for the Hurricanes in this series.
01:00:02And coming off that game three at the first goal of the game.
01:00:07Carolina's put the Habs on their heels.
01:00:11Both of these games.
01:00:13Morning free shots for Carolina.
01:00:15That's one more than the Canadiens total over the last three games combined.
01:00:19It's an NHL record low over three consecutive playoff games.
01:00:23Since they started keeping track.
01:00:2442 shots on goal for Montreal.
01:00:27There's another one.
01:00:28Still a record low.
01:00:31Bernie Anderson with his third shutout of the postseason.
01:00:36There have been only six in the league.
01:00:38He has half.
01:00:40Shutout Ottawa and Philadelphia in game one of their series.
01:00:45With the Hurricanes and Flyers.
01:00:47New franchise record.
01:00:48Fifth career postseason shutout for Anderson.
01:00:52As the Hurricanes become the seventh team in NHL history to win six road games to open.
01:00:59The postseason.
01:01:05So the Hurricanes will have a chance to close it out and advance to the cup final on home ice
01:01:09on Friday.
01:01:11Post game show presented by Band of Pharmaceuticals.
01:01:15Coming up next.
01:01:17Liam and the gang will chat with Fredrick Anderson.
01:01:20Poor Andy Olchek, Brian Boucher, Jackie Redman and our entire crew.
01:01:23I'm Kenny Albert.
01:01:24So long from Montreal.
01:01:25Post game is next.
01:01:42The zone is the home of boxing.
01:01:44Really spurs you on.
01:01:45Gets you going.
01:01:46Let's make history.
01:01:48Pure power.
01:01:49There's no way back from this.
01:01:52Surely.
01:02:06Don't miss the biggest night in MMA.
01:02:08We are now set for the main event.
01:02:16I miss it.
01:02:18I miss it.
01:02:18I miss it.
01:02:18I miss it.
01:02:19I miss it.
