00:20there and more calculated they are here in the united states yeah no states are launching sports
00:26betting this year uh in the united states but uh the industry is really going to be paying attention
00:32to alberta canada which on july 13th is going to go live with online casino as well as sports betting
00:39markets so at 365 being the latest name to join the list of applicants there's been about 31 brands
00:47already that have registered so a lot more than you would see typically in a state like where i am

00:52york there's only about 12 sports books you can choose from here it could be upwards of 75 when
00:58all is said and done there's only one other province in canada which has launched a legal sports spending
01:03kind of in this fashion uh and that's toronto and it's or ontario rather and it's uh it's had a
01:09lot
01:09of brands register there alberta is roughly the same size as a state like colorado or south carolina
01:15uh which would make it about the 22nd largest state uh in america so it's it's still a significant
01:21market that's the launch for a lot of these sports betting brands and i think that's why you see a
01:26brand like that 365 uh be interested in launching there it's one of the biggest brands in the world
01:32and actually has really taken a lot of steps to you know up its game in america and launch in
01:37more states
01:38at a time when the industry is kind of shrinking and not really doing that so i think alberta will
01:43be
01:43really interesting to see uh especially for a brand like bet365 you know how much they invest
01:49there how much they look to expand and take advantage of a new market at a time when a lot
01:53of the industry is looking for ways to save money
