Lost in Paradise 2 is the 2017 sequel to Vietnam’s hit _Hotboy nổi loạn_. Directed by Vũ Ngọc Đãng, it’s an 84-min drama that dives deeper into the complex, paradoxical world of male prostitution in Saigon. Rated R/18+ for mature themes. Vietnamese with English subs.

After the events of Part 1, *Lam* was rescued but returns to his old life: “find a way to find customers”. He’s still a male sex worker trying to survive in the city’s underground scene.
Lam’s main drive is finding *Khoi*, his ex-boyfriend. When Lam finally meets Khoi again, he realizes his fate feels “too unfair”. Their love is trapped between poverty, family curses, and society’s judgment.
The film explores: Can Lam do it all over again to get a new life? Or is he doomed by the “family curse” and his past choices? It’s darker than Part 1, focusing on betrayal, regret, and whether escape is possible for someone living on the margins.

Part 1 was “Hotboy rebels and the story of Laugher, prostitute and duck”. Part 2 reveals more raw details about the male prostitution world in Vietnam.
