00:50And a remarkable, Alan Gwelsa, who's a great historian of Lincoln, wrote me one day and said there are remarkable
00:57parallels between the southern newspapers attacked on Lincoln and the attacks on Trump.
01:04And that they both represented an awareness of an existential threat.
01:11That if Lincoln was to survive, the southern slaveholders would inevitably disappear.
01:17And if Trump survives, the modern left will disappear, literally disappear.
