00:00I think it was a mistake because the real problem wasn't Lewinsky.
00:06The real problem was he'd committed perjury in a case involving sexual harassment when he was governor.
00:13And perjury is a felony.
00:15In fact, he was stripped of his law license in Arkansas after he left the presidency.
00:22And for five years, couldn't practice because he clearly committed a felony.
00:26And so I always argued the question is, how do you commit felonies?
00:29But by allowing, and this is partly the way the report was written, by allowing it to be about sex,
00:35it trivialized it.
00:38I realized that we were really off course in August of that year when I was at the OK Cafe
00:44in Atlanta with my two daughters, who at that time were, I guess, in their early 20s.
00:52And they both said to me, if our friends lose money on their 401k because of some stupid intern, we
01:04are going to be mad at you.
01:06Because frankly, it ain't a big enough deal for us to lose a lot of money.
01:11Right.
01:11And I realized at that point I had completely misunderstood how the culture was evolving.
01:20And I realized that we were just a tutti.
01:21I had a lot of money to prove how the culture would bring it.
01:21And my friends that weren't for this team and a lot of men, they couldn't believe in them.
01:21So I just said.
