00:00Recently, former President Donald Trump was found liable for sexual abuse against E. Jean Carroll in a Manhattan civil case.
00:07That verdict cost him $5 million.
00:09But just one day later, he went on television for a town hall related to his 2024 presidential campaign.
00:15During the forum, he repeated many of the statements he had made about Carroll in the past, even calling her
00:20a, quote, whack job.
00:22He even went on to say that the trial was a rigged deal, despite his own lawyers having an equal
00:26hand in the jury selection process.
00:28However, the case Trump lost wasn't the only one against him.
00:31It wasn't even the only case being brought forth by Carroll, either.
00:34She also has a defamation case in the works against the former president as well.
00:38Now, Insider reports, that case has been amended to include the defamatory things Donald Trump said about her during that
00:44very televised town hall.
00:46This is just the latest addition to an already overwhelming number of civil and criminal cases against Trump.
00:51A situation that even Ty Cobb, former White House counsel during Trump's own presidency, says, could mean jail time for
00:57the former president.
00:58Telling CNN specifically about the case related to the top secret and classified documents found at Mar-a-Lago, quote,
01:04I think this is a tight obstruction case.
01:07Yes, I do think Trump will go to jail on it.
