"We waste an enormous amount of time at work. Why not cut all the fat in meetings?"

ThredUp CEO James Reinhart said the company’s shift to a four-day work week has led to “tremendous improvements” in employee happiness, creativity, and retention.

"Our retention metrics are through the roof," he said at the Fortune Workplace Summit. "We're not going back."

00:21thought that was a great idea and since then we've been tracking productivity
00:25and stuff but I have seen just tremendous improvements in employee happiness in
00:32employee creativity. I think we're working on the hardest problems and I think
00:36people and our retention metrics are through the roof.
