00:03Mike Sirota in the Dodgers organization.
00:05Mike Sirota bounced around a little bit.
00:07Sirota was drafted in the third round by Cincinnati,
00:09and he made his way to the Dodgers system.
00:12And Sirota in 41 ballgames so far this year,
00:16including his first week with AA Tulsa,
00:18hitting .322 with a 1049 OPS.
00:21He's got 14 doubles, 7 homers.
00:24He's already walked 38 times.
00:25A .322 batting average with a .473 on base.
00:298 for 9 in the stolen base department.
00:31His first week with Tulsa hit over .300 with three doubles.
00:35He drove in four, and he kept the punch outs in check.
00:38You just want to clown on the Gavin Lux deal again.
00:41Well, no, I was going to blame it on you,
00:43even though we worked together on the order of this.
00:46I was going to say, oh, you had to follow up the positive red segment
00:49with the Mike Sirota deal, right?
00:51To punish these four fans.
00:53No, I mean, that trade is going to go down as all-time bad
00:56because they also put a comp A pick with it.
00:57But beyond that, this player, he's really, really, really good.
01:03I think that trade is legitimately all-time bad
01:06because I think Mike Sirota is a top 20,
01:10maybe top 30 prospect for us in this next update.
01:13The big hurdle with him, everyone kept saying,
01:14let's see what he can do in AA
01:16because obviously he's been doing a lot in high A,
01:17and obviously he was banged up last year.
01:19It's some of the best raw power that we've seen at the lower levels
01:22in terms of just the EVs.
01:23It's crazy, crazy EVs for a guy that's a plus runner
01:27that can play center field, and then the patience
01:29and just the well-roundedness.
01:32There's going to be a little bit more whiff at the upper level,
01:34so I think that's why the AA hurdle is an important one.
01:36But as long as the strikeout rate's below 25%,
01:38there's a plus runner who's extremely patient,
01:40who has ridiculous raw power,
01:43that he's getting into pretty consistently already professionally.
01:46And if he can play an above-average center field,
01:50which it looks like he's the ingredients to do,
01:51which is sometimes there's some bad misses out there,
01:53but generally tracks the ball really well,
01:55this is pretty much close to a five-tool type of guy
01:58with the hit tool being a little bit of the variable,
02:00which he immediately hedges with elite plate discipline.
02:03I dig it.
02:04Last guy we've got to talk about, our first pitcher,
02:07Carson Milbrandt, the newly turned 22-year-old
02:09who was in AA for the Marlins,
02:11youngest guy on AA Pensacola's roster.
02:13And Milbrandt threw his eight starts in AA so far this year,
02:17a 1.06 ERA.
02:19In 42 and a third innings, he's punched out 63,
02:23including a 12-strikeout performance last time out.
02:26Is Carson Milbrandt pitching his way onto the top 100?
02:29Oh, yeah, he is.
02:30And he's going to jump well inside of it, too.
02:33This is nuts.
02:35We have this stat flash on the screen.
02:37It's the whole arsenal.
02:39He was great last year,
02:40but there was some reliever risk, right?
02:41But you saw the swing and miss, 29% strikeout rate in 2025.
02:45He said, you know what?
02:46I'm going to bump that by 10% in AA this year.
02:49And not only that, cut the walk rate by 4%, too.
02:52So he's chipping away at the reliever risk.
02:54He's improving the swing and miss stuff.
02:57And then you look at the entirety of the arsenal.
02:59I mean, it's a 43% whiff rate across the whole arsenal.
03:03The fastball is a 35% whiff rate.
03:05And his breaking walls have a 50% whiff rate.
03:07There's no pitch that you're kind of saying,
03:09oh, I hope Carson goes to this one.
03:11It's plus whiff rates across the board.
03:14He has the old-school delivery to the old-school windup,
03:16which is electric.
03:17I'm here for that.
03:18We need a guy bringing that back into the ballgame.
03:20But I've watched him in person.
03:23Really deceptive.
03:24You pair deception with mid to upper 90s velocity
03:27and a well-rounded pitch mix,
03:29including a disgusting gyro slider and a sweeper.
03:33And you've got a really difficult at-bat
03:35and a guy that's going to be well inside our top 100.
