00:04the month rises on May 31st, creating what's known as a blue moon. And despite the name,
00:09it's not actually going to appear blue. A blue moon just means two full moons happen in the same
00:13calendar month. The last time this happened was August 2023. And after this, we won't see another
00:19one until December 2028. That's also where the phrase once in a blue moon comes from, because
00:24events like this only happen every couple of years. So if skies are clear, look east after
00:29sunset and enjoy one of the rarest full moons of the decade.
