00:00God and the Holy Spirit, my dear brothers and sisters, on this most sacred night in which
00:05our Lord Jesus Christ passed over from death to life, the Church calls upon her sons and
00:12daughters scattered throughout the world to come together to watch and pray.
00:19If we keep the memorial of the Lord's paschal solemnity in this way, listening to his word
00:25and celebrating his mysteries, then we shall have the sure hope of sharing his triumph
00:31over death and living with him in God.
00:35Let us pray.
00:38O God, who through your Son, be sure upon the faithful the fire of your glory, sanctify this
00:46new fire, we pray, and grant that by these pastoral celebrations we may be so inflamed
00:53with heavenly desires, that with minds may cure, we may attain festivities of an ending splendor
