00:01A political storm is brewing inside Shah Alam PKR, and both sides are telling very different stories.
00:07Earlier on Monday, a group claiming to represent 21 branch committee members, including several women's wing leaders, announced their immediate
00:14resignation from the party.
00:16In a statement, the group cited a loss of confidence in the party's top leadership and branch chief Najwan Halimi,
00:22saying they were excluded from key decisions despite being elected through the party's own internal process.
00:28However, Najwan denied the mass resignation, saying an internal investigation found that only three members had actually quit.
00:36He also alleged that the move was orchestrated from within.
00:39Amid the dispute, Wanita PKR has stepped in.
00:43Secretary Sangeta Jayakumar announced that the wing will take over, oversee, and manage all administrative matters of the Shah Alam
00:50division with immediate effect.
00:53The move follows the division's failure to hold its general assembly within the required period.
