Datuk Seri Abd Halim Aman has officially reported for duty as Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief commissioner.

He was appointed to replace Tan Sri Azam Baki through an appointment letter issued by the Chief Secretary to the Government, Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar on April 25.

00:21The appointment was made with the consent of His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, in accordance with Section 5
00:28.1 of the M.A.C.C. Act, 2009.
00:32Abdul Halim has been appointed on a two-year contract from May 13, 2026 to May 12, 2028.
00:40In a statement, M.A.C.C. extended its congratulations and best wishes to Abdul Halim as he leads efforts
00:49to strengthen integrity, governance and the nation's anti-corruption agenda.
