00:10He succeeds Tanseri Azambaki following an appointment letter issued by Chief Secretary to the government, Tanseri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar,
00:19on April 25.
00:21The appointment was made with the consent of His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, in accordance with Section 5
00:28.1 of the M.A.C.C. Act, 2009.
00:32Abdul Halim has been appointed on a two-year contract from May 13, 2026 to May 12, 2028.
00:40In a statement, M.A.C.C. extended its congratulations and best wishes to Abdul Halim as he leads efforts
00:49to strengthen integrity, governance and the nation's anti-corruption agenda.
