00:00And Captain, the IRGC says 35 ships passed through the Strait of Homoz with Iran's permission over the last 24
00:08hours.
00:09How did you manage to leave the vessel safely? And what were the main obstacles for you?
00:16Well, I was very lucky that way. During the ceasefire, I was lucky to get down from the ship, from
00:23the position where it is still now.
00:26My ship is still stuck inside the Strait of Homoz. But since I had completed my contract long back, and
00:37total time was on board more than seven months now,
00:41so I requested my company to send me back home. My family was, they were, you know, continuously calling me
00:48and telling me, please come back home.
00:50So my, I would like to say thank you to my company as well. They arranged for my reliever on
00:56time and I could, you know, I could get down through a boat,
01:01which was also a, you know, long process to get the approvals, to get the reliever, suitable reliever, and then
01:08to get his visa from the nearest country.
01:11Then it took, it was a pretty, you know, long process. Like, it took like 15 days to arrange for
01:18my reliever and to connect him on board ship.
01:21So it was not an easy task. So there was a boat ride involved in this, like four to five
01:26hours boat ride, then hotel stay, then flights.
01:29Even though this country from where I got down from the vessel is Iraq. So from Iraq to India is
01:36not far distance, but due to this conflict zone,
01:39we had to take a longer flight. You know, they took the flight from, you know, away from the war
01:48zone. So it took a little longer because of that.
