00:07England manager Thomas Tuchel has focused on team chemistry after announcing his 26-man World Cup
00:12squad. The Germans said his task wasn't necessarily to pick the 26 most talented English
00:18players but the best possible team. As a result, he has left off many fan favorites with some of
00:24the biggest names being Real Madrid's Trent Alexander-Arnold, Bill Foden, Cole Palmer and Harry
00:29Maguire. Wireless inclusion of Saudi Arabia-based Ivan Toni and 35-year-old Jordan Henderson are two
00:36of the biggest surprises. However, the likes of Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham, Declan Rice,
00:41Bukayo Saka and Marcus Rashford are all there. Meanwhile, New York City residents will have a
00:47chance to earn affordable tickets to matches at the World Cup in the city. Mayor Zohan Mamdani
00:52announced that 1,000 tickets costing $50 will be made available to residents. However,
00:58they will have to go through a lottery system to have access to the tickets for seven of the eight
01:03matches to be played at the MetLife Stadium. Those lucky fans will also get free round-trip bus
01:09transportation. And lopsided results in UEFA World Cup and European Cup qualifications should be a thing
01:15of the past as UEFA will create a two-tier qualification process which will come into
01:20effect for the 2028-29 season. The top 36 countries will be drawn in three groups of 12 while the
01:27remaining 18 will play in a separate tournament. The best-ranked nations of each group in League One
01:33will qualify to the World Cup while the remaining places will enter the playoffs.
