A rare four-legged chicken named Quadzilla has captured hearts online while living her best life alongside her animal friends.

The unusual chick belongs to Amanda Brown, who works in healthcare leadership and community relations, and cares for a flock of chickens at home.

Amanda said she was completely stunned when she first discovered the tiny bird had four legs.

Quadzilla was spotted at a feed store, where staff reportedly feared the chick would not survive because of her condition.

But Amanda and Alex decided to take her home and give her a chance.

Quadzilla has also formed a close friendship with another chick called Oreo, along with their other pets as such as their dogs, tortoise and more.

Amanda says the little chicken quickly adapted and became part of the family.

She hopes Quadzilla’s story encourages people to embrace differences.

She explained: “My fiancé, Alex, called and told me he had gotten a four-legged chicken. I thought he was joking because, in my mind, something like that just didn’t exist.

“When I finally saw her with my own eyes, I knew I wanted to give her the best and most comfortable life possible because we truly didn’t know if she would survive.

“But she proved everyone wrong. Quadzilla is a fighter and has beaten the odds from the very beginning.

“At first, the other animals were curious about her but treated her surprisingly normally.

“Now everyone acts like she’s just another member of the group, even though she obviously stands out to humans.

"She’s very determined and surprisingly confident.

“She loves snacks and gets especially excited for treats like mealworms and crickets.

“One thing I’d really like people to take away from Quadzilla’s story is that different doesn’t mean less.

“She’s become such a joyful little personality, and it’s been amazing seeing how many people around the world have connected with her and rooted for her.”
