A lifelong chicken enthusiast has showcased one of the world's most unusual-looking chickens, whose distinctive posture makes it appear as though its head is permanently bent backwards.
Rames Ram, 39, an IT professional in the motorsport industry from Malaysia, has spent around 30 years caring for chickens and says the remarkable birds are original Ayam Serama chickens, a breed famous across Malaysia and parts of Southeast Asia.
The eye-catching video shows the tiny birds proudly strutting around with their chests puffed out and their heads held dramatically back, creating an almost unbelievable silhouette.
Despite their unusual appearance, the birds are perfectly healthy and are known for their friendly personalities and love of human interaction.
Rames has cared for more than 100 chickens over the years and keeps the Seramas as much-loved pets.
Some of his favourite birds are named Raiden, Jking, Zorro 16 and Raito.
He said: "This is an original Serama chicken.
"This has been my hobby for the past 30 years.
"These are my pets.
"Ayam Seramas are remarkably friendly and social birds.
"They often seek out human interaction.
"They prefer human touch and are happy to perform on the table."
