00:20A major divide is now emerging between Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu over Iran, and
00:27this time the disagreement is serious enough that reports claim Netanyahu's hair was
00:32on fire after a tense phone call with the U.S. president.
00:36The explosive conversation happened as Washington pushes for a fresh diplomatic deal with Iran,
00:42while Israel reportedly wants military action to resume immediately.
00:47According to Axios, Trump and Netanyahu discussed a revised peace proposal drafted by Qatar
00:53and Pakistan, with backing from Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Egypt.
00:57The goal is to bridge the widening gap between Washington and Tehran and prevent another major
01:03war in the Middle East.
01:04But Netanyahu is reportedly deeply frustrated.
01:08Sources say the Israeli prime minister argued during the one-hour call that delaying strikes
01:13against Iran was a mistake.
01:15Netanyahu believes Iran is using diplomacy to buy time, while protecting its military and
01:20nuclear infrastructure.
01:22CNN reports Netanyahu pushed Trump to restart military operations against Tehran instead
01:27of continuing negotiations.
01:29But Trump appears to be taking a different route.
01:32The U.S. president publicly said he still hopes a deal can be reached with Iran, though he also
01:37warned military action remains on the table.
01:39Trump said, and quote,
01:41We'll either have a deal or we're going to do some things that are a little bit nasty.
01:45He later added talks were right on the borderline between peace and renewed conflict.
01:51Right on the borderline, believe me.
01:53If we don't get the right answers, it goes very quickly.
01:55We're all ready to go.
01:57We have to get the right answers.
01:59It would have to be complete, 100% good answers.
02:02And if we do, we save a lot of time, energy, and lives.
02:07What makes this even more dramatic is that Trump had earlier informed Netanyahu that the U.S.
02:12was preparing targeted attacks under a proposed operation called Operation Sledgehammer.
02:16But within just one day, those strikes were paused after pressure from Gulf allies, including
02:21Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, who feared a wider regional war.
02:25Now, mediators are trying to secure a temporary breakthrough.
02:29According to reports, Trump told Netanyahu that negotiators are working on a letter of intent
02:33between the U.S. and Iran.
02:35The proposed agreement would formally end the conflict and begin a 30-day negotiation process
02:40focused on Iran's nuclear program and reopening the Strait of Hormuz.
02:44Iran has confirmed it is reviewing the updated proposal.
02:48Iranian President Massoud Kefiskian said Tehran remains open to diplomacy and claimed Iran
02:52has explored every possible avenue to avoid war.
02:55But Trump also warned the diplomatic window could close very quickly.
02:58Trump said,
02:59If we don't get the right answers, it goes very quickly.
03:03We're all ready to go.
03:04In another striking remark, Trump declared Netanyahu would ultimately follow Washington's
03:08lead, saying,
03:09Netanyahu will do whatever I want him to do.
03:12What if you said to Prime Minister Netanyahu about Iran and how long to hold off on strike?
03:17He's fine.
03:17He'll do whatever I want him to do.
03:19He's a very good man.
03:22He'll do whatever.
03:23Meanwhile, Israel's military says it remains prepared for any development as tensions across
03:27the region continue to rise despite the April ceasefire.
03:30The big question now is whether diplomacy can survive this growing divide between Washington
03:34and Tel Aviv, or whether the Middle East is heading toward another dangerous military escalation.
