00:15The strategic Strait of Hormuz, just as it has been in the past, remains under the complete and total management
00:20and control of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
00:22And no merchant ship or oil tanker can pass through without the authorization and monitoring of Iran's powerful armed forces.
00:28There is no security threat in this Strait, nor will there be.
00:32The leaders and army of the terrorists in America, from the past until now, have well tested the power and
00:38standing of the nation and the brave sons of the people in the powerful armed forces in Iran.
00:45They have tested it well.
00:47America is constantly looking for trouble and unrest in the region, and the baseless threats from that country, in the
00:54face of the comprehensive and increased readiness of the heroic Islamic fighters in the armed forces, will result in nothing
01:01but despair and embarrassment.
01:07For them, the proud armed forces of the Islamic Iran monitor all movements of the American Zionist enemies in the
01:13region.
01:19And wise leadership of the Supreme Commander of the armed forces, his eminence, Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei, may his shadow
01:27endure in achieving the rights of the nation, national sovereignty, and defending the goals of the Islamic revolution, and our

02:26Iran's Revolutionary Guard has declared that reopening the Strait of Hormuz depends entirely on Washington changing what Tehran describes as
02:38its behavior.
02:39Guard spokesperson Hossein Mohebi said the reopening is not linked to negotiations with Oman, but instead hinges on whether the
02:49United States accepts Iran's demands.
02:52Those remarks came despite Iranian officials confirming that negotiations with Oman are approaching a breakthrough.
03:01Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said Tehran and Oman are very close to reaching an agreement on a new shipping route
03:09through the Strait.
03:11However, he stressed that reopening commercial traffic requires much more than a technical arrangement.
03:17Iran says Washington must first meet several political and security conditions.
03:24Among those demands are compensation for damage caused during the conflict, an end to U.S. military threats against Iran,
03:32lifting sanctions, removing what Tehran calls the blockade, releasing frozen Iranian assets, and ending actions against Iran's regional allies.
03:44The developments come as the conflict enters another sensitive phase.
03:49The United States has repeatedly expressed optimism that an agreement could soon restore commercial shipping through Hormuz.
03:58American officials say Washington is prepared to lift restrictions on Iranian ports once Tehran fulfills its commitments under any future

04:44Iranian President Massoud Pezesh Khan said the current moment offers the best opportunity to reach an agreement.
04:51He argued that Iran enters negotiations from what he describes as a position of unity and strength following months of
05:01conflict.
05:02Yet, despite diplomatic optimism, commercial shipping continues to face major disruption.
05:09Iran has justified tighter control over maritime traffic by citing wartime security concerns.
05:16The resulting restrictions have pushed freight costs higher, disrupted global energy supplies, and fueled inflation across international markets.
