Professional skateboarder, model, influencer and cliff jumper Jaysean Berndt recently visited R3 Stem Cell Nashville after years of wear and tear from skateboarding, injuries, ankle pain and cartilage issues.

Jaysean discusses the toll skateboarding has taken on his body, including daily soreness, ankle pain, knee scars and the possibility of ankle surgery before choosing to explore regenerative treatment options at R3.

During his visit, Jaysean received IV regenerative support along with targeted ankle treatment using PRP, umbilical cord stem cells with Wharton’s jelly and exosomes.

00:00I've broken fingers, I've broken toes, been knocked out, I've been hit by cars, I fell
00:05downstairs.
00:05You know, a lot of trips to the hospital, a lot of trying to recover, but you know,
00:10like my mom says, if you're not having fun while doing it, then you're not doing it right.
00:21So my name's Jay Sean Barrett, I am from Vallejo, California.
00:25I'm a professional skateboarder, model, influencer, and cliff jumper.
00:28You know, I'm just a jack of all trades and I enjoy it.
00:32Jay Sean, welcome to Nashville, we're so glad to have you here.
00:36So let's talk about what we're going to do for you here today, sir.
00:40So what brought me here was the skateboarding actually from all the injuries for many, many
00:44years.
00:45I wake up sore, I go to sleep sore.
00:47When I continue to like skateboard and do like physical activities like running and certain
00:52activities my ankles, the cartilage of my ankles are not good enough to like sustain like long
00:56distances.
00:57I have scars like all on my knees, see both my legs are just completely toasted.
01:02So I decided to come to R3 Stem Cell Therapy to rejuvenate that.
01:07So I'm going to start an IV of normal saline, I'm going to add a vitamin mixture called a
01:11Myers cocktail to it and when that gets about halfway done, we're going to start infusing
01:1590 million umbilical cord cells and you're going to get 50 billion exosomes.
01:22That's a lot of cells.
01:24Rejuvenate your whole body.
01:26And then we're going to take a look at your ankle and see what we can do to fix that
01:30up
01:30for you.
01:30I'm really excited.
01:31I'm like I needed this for years.
01:33I'm like finally going to get it and I just can't thank you enough.
01:37Oh we're so happy to help you.
01:39I think R3 Stem Cell Therapy is going to be perfect for me because it's going to restore
01:44all these years of just battling, you know, with the skateboard.
01:48Where does it bother you out?
01:50So for me it's actually the inside of the cushioning of the ankle.
01:54It causes me daily pain, it'll throb and like I'll feel my heart beats from my ankle like
01:58it'll be so painful.
01:59That's pretty painful.
02:00I was also like considering getting surgery on my ankle and this is actually a better
02:05alternative to surgery.
02:07You don't have to do the long wait times, you don't have to be a sore, you know.
02:11This is like the best, you know.
02:13This is your PRP, umbilical cord stem cells with Wharton-Shelley and this is your exosomes.
02:19We're going to scan your foot and inject it.
02:22Ooh, I'm excited.
02:33All right, we're about to feel better guys, I'm really excited, here we go.
02:56How'd it feel?
02:57That was a good, that was a really good injection on the top of the foot, it was really good.
03:01Like it was smoother than I thought it was going to be.
03:03Thank you so much for coming to see us here at R3 Stem Cell Nashville, we really appreciate
03:08having you.
03:09It's been a pleasure.
03:10Okay, so I am feeling great about this, there's just so many benefits to it, I 100% recommend
03:15to anyone.
03:16I'm just so grateful.
