00:25Done
00:26Auntie mommy
00:27Hey
00:30Hello
00:32There you go, thank you
00:34This is my request
00:36I think John wanted a lion cake
00:39Andrea actually made one
00:41This is terrific I think
00:43Andrea, she loved baking
00:46Cheese
00:46Happy birthday
00:49to you
00:52Hey snap
00:53Bye
00:54Bye Noah
00:58I think that was his first time on a bike
01:03He was really eager and you can see John
01:05following along
01:09Oh
01:10John
01:12He was so physical
01:13He was funny
01:15He'd have been a good linebacker
01:17Thank you
01:18Thank you
01:19It's your turn
01:22Yay
01:27You like your bike Noah?
01:32I wish I'd known what was to come
01:38You see a lot of homicides
01:39But you don't see a scene like that
01:40Sergeant Randall Beatty never cried in his 16 years in the force
01:45Until he saw the horrors inside this house
01:49Tragedy is an understatement
01:50I don't believe there are words in any language that can describe what has happened
01:58I feel sorry for the children
02:00I feel sorry for the children
02:01It makes me sound nervous
02:02It makes my stomach hurt
02:03How can reality be worse than your nightmare?
02:09But it was
02:16One of the most heartbreaking tragedies we have ever heard
02:20Neighbors are understandably stunned
02:24This mom's actions are a calculated act of evil
02:28These events are beyond our ability to understand
02:34Number one question
02:36Why? Why? Why?
02:53I absolutely remember the first time I saw Andrea
02:56It was by the pool
02:58She was laying out
03:00Looked like a goddess
03:03She was working as a nurse at MD Anderson Cancer Hospital
03:08Doing well for herself
03:09She was smart, you know
03:11And I admired that
03:15I love that picture
03:17Yeah
03:19I remember that we just said our vows
03:24She looks happy
03:28Pretty
03:32After we got married
03:33After we got married
03:34We discussed children and said
03:35We considered each one a blessing
03:37And we'd have however many came along
03:39That was our plan
03:40We didn't know they'd come along so fast
03:44Noah was born in February of 94
03:47John was born in December of 95
03:51Paul was born in 97
03:54My favorite role in this life has been being a father
04:00And I think being a mother is Andrew's favorite role
04:07Andrew would jokingly call herself Fertile Myrtle
04:10Because it seemed like
04:11Every time she could get pregnant she did
04:13What does that say boys?
04:15It says congratulations Rusty and Andrew
04:16It's a boy
04:17That's so cute
04:18I'm both sides
04:19And then Luke was born in 99
04:24Right around Valentine's Day
04:26Yeah
04:28Andrew was herself
04:29Pretty much the whole time
04:31Up until a few months after Luke was born
04:36That's when she started withdrawing
04:38Just staring blankly ahead
04:41And wouldn't say anything
04:42So we didn't know what was going on in her head
04:48Mary was born in November 2000
04:51She's the fifth of five
04:53Big brother
04:55Andrew seemed fine there for a couple months
04:57She's little sister Mary
04:59She's finally killed
05:01But then
05:04Andrea very quickly declined
05:07She was just a completely different person
05:16She was nearly catatonic
05:23And that's when the tragedy occurred
05:38It was a pretty normal morning
05:41Might have been running a little late
05:42I can't remember
05:47Andrea was at the table eating cereal out of the box
05:57I thought it was strange
05:58Nothing I'd ever seen her do before
06:01But that's the last thing I remember seeing in the house
06:04I remember hugging the kids
06:07That's about it
06:08Yep
06:12She's got a single out of the corner
06:15Children
06:21Houston police, there's a bubble fill
06:23I need a police officer
06:25What's the problem?
06:31No one's burglarizing your house?
06:33I mean what is it?
06:45Hello?
06:47I just need a police officer
06:52I just need him to come
06:54Are you there alone?
06:57No, my kids are here
07:04I was at work maybe an hour
07:06And got a call from Andrea
07:08And she's like
07:10You need to come home
07:11I'm like
07:13Why?
07:13You need to come home
07:14I'm like
07:16My heart sank
07:17Because I'm like, oh no, what has she done?
07:21I got home
07:23There are already media trucks all the way down the road
07:25Roads blocked off, police cars everywhere
07:28And when the officer arrived out here
07:31He saw the woman at the door
07:32She was still breathing heavily
07:34And she said
07:34I just killed my kids
07:44She let him in
07:46On the bed covered with a sheet
07:48Were four of the children
07:51And a short time later
07:52A backup officer found the fifth child in the bathtub
07:58When I got to the house
08:01The police wouldn't let me inside
08:04And Andrea was still inside the whole time
08:08I remember banging on the back door
08:11How could you do this? I don't understand
08:16How can you do this? I don't understand
08:21I'd do anything, you know, to save my children
08:23And there's nothing I can do
08:28I was heartbroken
08:30I was heartbroken
08:3136 year old Andrea Yates shows no emotion
08:34Minutes after admitting to police the unthinkable
08:37Murdering five children
08:38The children's father arrived at the house
08:41To hear that his four boys and infant girl are dead
08:50Coming up
08:52Marriage, children, murder
08:54What set her world spinning so horribly out of control?
08:59They seem to be the perfect couple
09:00And she seemed the perfect mother
09:03It's one of the most heart-wrenching tragedies
09:05We have ever heard five children murdered at the hands of their own mother
09:10Andrea Yates
09:11I don't know how to square this feeling of knowing that I understand 100% why Andrea did it
09:20And I hate that I understand
09:22Andrea Yates knew right from wrong and she made a choice on June 20th
09:29When I watch news coverage or documentaries about Andrea Yates, it doesn't do it for me
09:36A mother who kills her kids is presumptively crazy
09:40They are missing a huge part of the story
09:45Michael Wernicke
10:04A family it takes a day to vote for me
10:10And she's also a bad place with a Crown
10:11The Son of the Damien
10:11The Son of the Damien
10:11The Son of the Damien
10:11The Son of the Damien
10:11The Son of the Damien
10:17the Yates. There were so many similarities between us and them. Noah there in that video
10:26is actually named after my older brother named Noah. It's so weird to see because even Andrea
10:39talks like my mom. The kids have the same haircuts that we did. Honestly, I haven't felt this before
10:45right now, but there is like a survivor's guilt. That easily could have been us.
11:01In this tape, I'm going to expose the Antichrist. My motivation is out of love to free you from
11:10yourself. The soundtrack to my childhood was Michael Wernicke. He was our spiritual teacher.
11:18He was a huge influence for my family, for the Yates family. The entire word of God speaks about
11:26the last days. A huge part of his teachings was the impending doom of Judgment Day. God was going to
11:36end
11:36the world in a matter of 46 minutes from right now. He was that intense. He was that present.
11:42This is a matter of you being forever in hell, an eternal damnation.
11:52There would be a thunderstorm that would prompt my mom to get on her knees and pray,
11:58God, please save us. Please save our kids. If need nightmares, my oldest sister would have these
12:07visions and she would start hitting her body just to stop those very dark images of the future.
12:15I will not be cursed in hell for being a liar. This is control. This is fear. This is a
12:21ticking
12:22time bomb. The truth. The truth will set you free. Free.
12:30Andrea and I saw ourselves as a family that had traditional values.
12:38We did read the Bible. We read Bible stories. We did it together as a family.
12:46Early on in our relationship, Andrea and I both were in communication with Michael Warnecki.
12:54He would send stuff in the mail like a track or a cassette tape.
13:02God chose a little guy, a guy named Michael Peter Warnecki, to share truth with you.
13:09It would almost be like a, I don't know, too strong a word might be spiritual advisor.
13:16God wants to save you. God wants to heal you. God loves you.
13:23I had met him back when I was still in college.
13:27Jesus Christ, Lord of Lords and King of Kings, I shall set fire to this earth.
13:32I felt like he was genuinely trying to follow what he read and saw in scripture and tried
13:41his best to not be hypocritical. Not church, not the Pope, not Roman Catholicism, not American
13:49Christianity. Jesus Christ, the living God. I'd never seen that kind of message where you don't
13:57have to belong to a church. You don't have to belong to an organization to find the God. I admired
14:03that.
14:05Right, Moses. Show me your butterfly. Go back there and say it, honey.
14:10Hallelujah, you guys. We love you all. We wanted to just make this tape while we have the time.
14:16I was born the fourth of five children. I love you.
14:21I love you. Kathy, you know, Kathy, you are up in Ohio. You know, you just had that new baby,
14:28three months old. Kathy's my mom. Michael Wernicke is my mom's uncle.
14:36My mom was the pretty popular girl in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She met my dad and then immediately
14:47got pregnant. And this is really where she got attached to Michael. If you go from being the
14:55popular girl in high school to then you're pregnant, out of wedlock. For her at that moment,
15:02this high school identity disappeared. You'll still wake up with an empty heart with lust and
15:09selfishness and loneliness. So what's the point? Michael and Barry, clear term says,
15:17you do exactly this. And all that pain, all that shame you feel, all that loss from your identity,
15:24all of that is answered here. I don't know how you couldn't believe that.
15:30I don't care how much spirituality you have. If there's no Jesus Christ, there is no salvation.
15:41Stand by. My siblings and I, we were born into it.
15:45And unless you're in it, you don't fully understand the amount of control
15:53that Michael Warnicke had over us. I embraced Michael Warnicke like my spiritual father.
16:06And I felt he took me in as a son.
16:14That's me. Maybe like three or four years old.
16:19That's my dad. And that's my mother there.
16:31I would describe my family as a very traditional Hispanic family.
16:38I went to Texas A&M University. That's my fraternity, Tau Capa Epsilon. Because I was raised with three
16:46sisters. But I always wanted brothers. So when I joined a fraternity, I automatically had a hundred
16:52brothers. It was a culture shock. I mean, kids with money. They had American Express gold cars. They
16:58were driving BMWs. So I got to see this world of money. And it was exciting. The word back then
17:05was
17:05upperly mobile. It was when the official yuppie handbook came out. You're gonna do good in school,
17:12get a good job, make money, and live a very comfortable lifestyle. That's a good way to live.
17:26I was strolling across campus one day and came across that crowd of students who were
17:31listening to someone speak through a bullhorn. As I got closer, I noticed that huge banner with those
17:35big words, you're going to hell. It wasn't a student. It was an older man.
17:42He had broad shoulders, muscular arms. He had a tight and white t-shirt. He was also wearing
17:47camel print khakis, like a military. So I thought he was tough.
17:53He got my attention because he was denouncing the hypocrisy of American Christianity.
17:58Our pastor, Robert Chiltec. He was calling out the televangelists of the day as frozen charlatans.
18:05A jury today convicted Jim Baker of helping himself to the offering plate.
18:09It's not over till it's over. They're arrogant. They're proud. They didn't know nothing of humility.
18:15You see, I'm no longer living that proud, wicked,
18:18no peace out of life. It's sin. I thought, wow, this is the first time
18:22a man of God is calling out other so-called Christian people. That was powerful to me.
18:29It was bold. This guy had balls with his camel print khakis, huh?
18:37God is going to destroy this earth and all you wretched sinners because you deserve your rebellion
18:43and your wickedness to a holy God. This is the University of Utah. This is Michael preaching.
18:52Just shut up. What's this mean?
18:56People are already young and impressionable.
18:58Let the word of God speak for doubt for once in your life and maybe you'll do it again.
19:04Michael was displaying behavior that not every college kid has. Very sure of themselves,
19:10projecting this very masculine image, speaking very violently.
19:14You must begin to fight, fight back, to battle back, to take possession, to fight, to fight,
19:20to war against, to overcome and conquer. It is intoxicating. You are in a suggestible state.
19:26Your little stupid pea brain limited unbelief keeps you locked into a religious facade
19:32that is going nowhere but to hell. It wasn't a cushy, comfy kind of message.
19:40I liked the fact that it was a little bit edgier.
19:59This is the first pamphlet I've ever read from Michael Warronegi. It's How to Win a Crazy War.
20:05It says my nickname was the Crazy War. Crazy War. My last name is Warnegi because I just did
20:12everything to get the acceptance of the world. I'd smash windows and bars. I'd grab somebody and just
20:18pound them to a pub. This Crazy War waged within me from an ultra boy to a tough guy fullback
20:24on a sex,
20:25drugs, and rock and roll college hike. I was at Central Michigan University. I was playing football,
20:31doing my own thing. Just trying to develop my ego and be somebody in the world.
20:40All of a sudden, I got hurt during a spring football game.
20:43I lost reputation, image, the guys, the scene. I had nothing and nobody.
20:49He claims to have encountered the resurrected Jesus. I can remember like it was yesterday. I was born
20:56again in that football stadium. I stood up and I saw the kingdom of God.
21:04I identified with what I was reading. It felt that the words were just peeling away this mask I was
21:10hiding behind. This is another pamphlet that I picked up. What captivated me was the title,
21:17What are you living for? It was the first time that I deeply considered, what am I living for?
21:25He's got some stuff that really makes you think.
21:30It's that big picture of what am I living for? To look good, you know, impress people, make girls
21:38like me, have money, have a nice car. Is that what you're living for? Are you ready to have something
21:43real? You want to step out of your comfort zone? I can show you. I'm there. I testify of it.
21:51Yeah.
21:54Well, the Navy's track was his mailing address.
21:57One day, I took a piece of paper and wrote a note expressing my interest.
22:01Then I remember I mailed it to him. And that was the biggest mistake of my life.
22:34And this is the first letter that I received from Michael.
22:37And this is the first letter I received from Michael.
22:38David, what a blessed name. It means my beloved one.
22:42I am blessed to get your letter and to hear you share a little bit of your life.
22:46There is so much ahead of you and you are serious.
22:49For now, I will send you these tapes and wait to hear your response to them.
22:53Blessed be his mighty name, Michael Warnecke.
23:11I am an ambassador of Christ. Come to speak in authority, not just to you or this country or a
23:19campus, but throughout all the nations, throughout all the world.
23:22And when I hear this, I started realizing how serious this was,
23:27that Mike has been chosen to be God's vessel to deliver a message of truth.
23:33The majority of people today are hardened.
23:38They have been saturated with the unbelieving voices of the world.
23:43No heart for God, no zeal for Jesus Christ.
23:48I tell you, as an authority, humble yourself.
23:53And so I wrote him again and again, and he continued to send me tapes and literature.
24:00And I was studying and evaluating Mike's teachings.
24:05He says that every institution, colleges, hospitals, they're all satanic distractions.
24:10So you do everything except seek the real God.
24:15The demons are being unloosed. You are headed for hell. This whole world is headed for hell.
24:21I thought the whole world was controlled by the devil.
24:26Now I'm convinced that the only way to get close to God are through these tapes or these tracks.
24:34All these are lies. All this stuff of go to God, how to be God, how to be God. It's
24:39all lies.
24:40It's satanically infested. This is the true unadulterated reality. So this thing is, that's all there is.
24:51His name is Jesus. Jesus! Jesus! Jesus!
24:58We are watching a home video right now with all my siblings.
25:14And these were tapes that were meant to go to Michael
25:18to show how blessed us kids were and how much we praised Jesus.
25:23Praise Jesus!
25:25Praise Jesus.
25:26We were living in Finley, Ohio in a rented, like, one-bedroom house.
25:31What's going on, David and Moses?
25:33My poop came out.
25:35We were never in school.
25:38Hi there, boys.
25:39Hey.
25:40Hi.
25:42Hello.
25:42We also homeschooled.
25:44Tell me what type of instruments you're playing.
25:46A guitar.
25:48And what family does that belong to?
25:49String family.
25:51John, what are yours?
25:52We made this for me both.
25:53I think we each had different perspective on that.
25:55I thought of it more from a learning standpoint.
25:57Andrea is afraid of the negative influence in school.
26:01She didn't want them exposed to that at such a young age.
26:04My drama made out of salt play.
26:07And that was all because Michael believed that anything in the public school system
26:11was seen as Satan's way to indoctrinate you, get into your kids' heads.
26:16Michael's kids, they were homeschooled.
26:18So my parents thought that we should be too.
26:21And I'm here with my family.
26:23We got Abraham, we got Joshua, we got David, we got Sarah, my oldest, we got Rachel, my wife,
26:32Ruth, did I say Elizabeth?
26:34No, no, no, no.
26:35And these are all the stars.
26:36The stars of righteousness.
26:38Then we were informed that Michael and his family, his eight kids, had gone out on a bus.
26:45And this was all in an effort to spread the word of God's true way.
26:51Hey, Moses.
26:52How are you doing on here?
26:53My mom comes home one day.
26:55I just bought a bus.
26:58And the idea was that we would set out on the road, just like Michael, and spread Michael's
27:03word by street preaching.
27:15At some point, we received a newsletter from the Warneckys.
27:21It said, hey, we have a new bus.
27:24And so our old ones are for sale.
27:27The way they made it sound, they're like, oh, this thing's fantastic.
27:29You know, it's like, you know, great deal.
27:32At the time for my work, we happened to be living in a trailer.
27:37And so we were thinking, well, we like RV living.
27:42Let's try this bus.
27:49We planned a trip down to Miami.
27:53We stayed there for a little while, saw the bus, and I'm like, Andrea, what do you think?
28:00Between the trailer and the bus, she said bus.
28:04Asked the kids, I'm like, hey, which do you like better?
28:08Every single one of them said bus.
28:09So I was like, okay, you know, we'll do it.
28:15I think I would have overruled my family if, given the chance again, I don't think I would have bought
28:20it.
28:21Yeah.
28:27Street preaching and the bus entirely consumed my childhood.
28:32As early as three years old, I was out on the street yelling at people, saying, you're headed for hell.
28:40Even though I had no idea what I was saying at three.
28:44God is trying to speak to you as one of the very few.
28:47One of Michael's core teachings was about the end of the world.
28:53Many are called, but few are chosen.
28:55Only few will be saved, like in the days of Noah.
28:59That means eight people.
29:00That's how many people were saved on Noah's Ark.
29:03So I was counting Michael's family, and I'm like, well, that's already eight people.
29:07How is there room for us?
29:09And if you want to take lately that calling, your blood is not on my head.
29:14The scarcity couldn't be higher stakes.
29:18We're talking about eternal life in heaven.
29:23Are you okay, soldier?
29:24There's only few spots left, which is why I was hyper aware of the Yates family.
29:30Rusty Yates.
29:31God wants color in your life.
29:33Fruits of spirit, joy.
29:35When I heard that the Yates family also got a bus, that seemed like a threat.
29:40They were homeschooling their kids.
29:43We were first.
29:44First, they lived in a bus, and so did we.
29:48Lord, I do not want to be left pounding on the Ark's door,
29:52screaming in the destruction of no hope and no mercy for eternity.
29:58Michael painted a very vivid picture of the end of the world,
30:02and this is inevitable.
30:05This is coming.
30:06That day of judgment is about to come.
30:08Make that leap of faith and don't fall short.
30:11In that scarcity mindset, you would be surprised what actions people will take
30:16to spare themselves and their family from this tragic end.
30:22Give up.
30:24Don't fall short.
30:26Like they did in the wilderness.
30:29And look what happened to them.
30:31They all dropped dead.
30:38By the time of my graduation, I was heavily adopting Michael's teachings.
30:45And I was spending hundreds of hours reading, digesting, absorbing Michael's tapes and tracks.
30:51This is where I really started experiencing a spiritual schizophrenia.
30:58I felt exposed.
31:00On one hand, I'm happy.
31:03I've accomplished this achievement.
31:04I was the first person in my family to go to college and graduate from college.
31:10But on the other side, I'm feeling guilty.
31:13I knew Michael would be disappointed, and I was fearful because I knew that he would think,
31:18see, I was right.
31:20Look at you.
31:21Called you out as a phony, and you are.
31:23And you know it.
31:24However noble or righteous or Christian you think you are,
31:27demon, brutal in your mind, in your heart.
31:30On one hand, a happy, glad accomplishment, guilty.
31:35Maybe siding with Satan.
31:36It's a strange place to be in.
31:38You're 18, 19, 20 years old.
31:41You're dealing with feelings, emotions, struggles, insecurities.
31:45It's all wrong.
31:48In my mind, that's my battle.
31:53It felt like there was two David.
31:56There was two David.
31:57Is it good to hear you?
31:58Hear you?
32:02Put that on the camera.
32:04Put that on your show.
32:10What does that say, boy?
32:11It says, congratulations, Rusty and Andrea.
32:13It's a boy.
32:14That's so cute.
32:15What's that?
32:16After Luke was born, life was pretty busy.
32:20Living was more about just managing to get everything done, you know, taking care of the kids.
32:28And so I'd lost touch with the Warneckys, but I didn't discourage Andrea from writing if she wanted to write.
32:36I'm like, you know, whatever.
32:38It's her business, you know, her choice.
32:42I confront you parents who are raising your children.
32:45What are you teaching them?
32:48Andrea was herself pretty much the whole time up until a few months after Luke was born.
32:54Well, who's that little runt down there?
32:57I think he likes the red light on the camera.
33:00He's coming to inquire.
33:02She started withdrawing.
33:04Sin is the nature we were born with.
33:08She'd not been like that before that I ever noticed.
33:12One day, she called me at work.
33:14She said that I should come home.
33:17She didn't sound good.
33:19When I got back, Andrea was crouched over and shaken.
33:24Not saying anything, staring blankly ahead.
33:28Are they learning?
33:31God, Bible, Jesus.
33:32God, Bible, Jesus.
33:33God, Bible, Jesus.
33:36I didn't see it as any kind of illness.
33:39I just saw it as, oh, she's just, maybe it's been too much.
33:44She's just faltering for some reason.
33:46Are they having that ingrained and trained in there by a mother?
33:49And we can only carry so much with us.
33:52She just needs a break.
33:53I don't know what, I didn't know.
33:56I thought going to her mom's was a good idea
33:58because I was hoping that would be a place she felt safe.
34:04But she was not well.
34:07I was really worried about her and the kids.
34:10They were scared.
34:13I mean, it's her mother.
34:15You know, we all feel that way, right?
34:17I mean, we know our lives depend on our parents.
34:27And Jesus said, the last days, mockings will come.
34:31The reason why they mocked is because we were lost.
34:35That's right, Moses.
34:36This video is going to be sent to Michael.
34:39This is going to be our spiritual currency for Michael to see,
34:44look how much we're following your ways.
34:45These young kids, the younger the better,
34:48that they can recite these verses.
34:50This means we're listening to your tapes.
34:53Oh, you can walk here by this chair, okay?
34:55Follow me.
34:57Ready, set, go.
35:02Off camera, it was like very high stakes
35:05that we got these tapes right.
35:06And there's a lot of cues and looking to my mom
35:10to be like, what would be good?
35:14Yeah.
35:14Can you sit up a little bit higher on your knees?
35:17Get up on your knees.
35:20And then if you didn't get the tape right,
35:23the price was a spanking.
35:26We're praising Jesus out of fear.
35:29Can you come away from that plant, Noah?
35:31The energy of like a hostage video
35:34is how I would describe us.
35:35Moses?
35:36Yeah?
35:36Praise Jesus.
35:42Maybe once a year or twice a year,
35:45we would go to Michael's boss with his family,
35:47his eight kids,
35:49and my parents would be warming us up
35:52to talk to Michael.
35:54How many Bible verses can you quote?
35:56John 3, 16, go.
35:57Can you tell me what you're doing?
35:59I just remember being incredibly nervous
36:01because my parents were so nervous.
36:04It was like you're going to meet a dictator.
36:07Could Caesar thumbs up or down you?
36:22In 1999, I called
36:24and probably could still refer to
36:27what Andrea had as a nervous breakdown.
36:29So I went to her mom's
36:32and we had Andrea's family there
36:34to help us with the kids.
36:40But she didn't seem to be getting much better.
36:44She said a few things that were a little bit off.
36:49Andrea started getting concerned about the kids, knowing their ABCs.
36:58They would say part of it and mess up or whatever, and Andrea would think, oh, well, they should
37:04know that.
37:08Andrea very quickly declined after that.
37:14She was nearly catatonic and wouldn't say anything, so we didn't know what was going
37:19on in her head.
37:25Rumbling noises coming from the wall.
37:28You are accountable to your children.
37:31Louder and louder.
37:33Demons and powers of darkness that are controlling you and are going to lead you to hell.
37:39I didn't even consider that even a possibility that she would harm herself.
37:43You see Satan coming in.
37:45Satan coming in.
37:47I heard what I thought was, Andrea, come here.
37:53I wish I'd known what was to come.
38:02I remember going to visit Michael at a campground.
38:08And I don't remember what I said.
38:10And I don't remember what I said.
38:10I just remember I was, quote, being haughty.
38:15Michael took that as, hey, you're not being strong enough on your kids.
38:19Do you spank your kids?
38:21Yes.
38:26Growing up under Michael's tutelage, violence is seen as a highway to God.
38:34You were supposed to spank your kids.
38:37We were beaten with pieces of plywood.
38:41And I remember one time I was about to be spanked.
38:44And I still had to write in Sharpie, like 1 Corinthians chapter 2, and then write the Bible verse on
38:53the thing you're about to be hit with.
38:58And I don't, nothing else feels like that in life.
39:02Nothing else tastes like that.
39:04Like the taste of your mouth when you're about to get hit with something that you're also trying to artistically
39:10do a good job on.
39:11And it was beyond spanking.
39:14This was, like, psychological.
39:19So when we were visiting Michael and his family, he said, well, you're not spanking them hard enough.
39:26I need to show you how you should spank your kids.
39:42I was kind of, like, checking in with my mom's eyes, like, hey, we're not going to do this, right?
39:46This is insane.
39:49But she was sort of nodding off, like, this is, this is actually a blessing.
39:53You get to be spanked by the Michael.
39:56You get to get the shit kicked out of you by the Almighty.
40:04So then we went to, like, the back bedroom area in the bus.
40:12And then he spanked us with their paddle.
40:37Michael would say, foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child.
40:42And only the rod of reproof will move it far, far away.
40:49He's got a lot of fat right in his butt.
40:51You've got to train him.
40:55I bet you get spanked.
40:59You get taste.
41:02They love it.
41:04They want it.
41:07Because they know they don't want to go to hell.
41:10Say, take my spanked.
41:12Don't scream.
41:14Don't scream.
41:26It's, yeah, I don't know if I was, I'm an adult now.
41:32I'm so terrified of this man.
41:34I'm, like, watching my words right now.
41:37Because I don't want him to hit me again.
41:38I don't want him to hit me again.
