00:24Peabody, Sherman, and way back here.
00:25Sherman is the one opening the package.
00:27Gee, Mr. Peabody, just what I've always wanted.
00:30A skirt?
00:31Those are kilts. I bought them for today's journey.
00:34That must mean we're going to Scotland, right?
00:36Right. We kilted ourselves, set the way back machine for the year 1745, and were on our way.
00:41Before you could say Brawbrich nicked, we were standing outside a thatched cottage in the city of Aberdeen.
00:46We were about to enter when suddenly a detective of British soldiers burst out of the night and broke down
00:50the cottage door.
00:53Hands off, everyone!
00:55You got no right coming in here that way.
00:57Hold on to your tongue now. We know you're riding him. Hand him over.
01:01Hand who over?
01:02Him.
01:03Who's him? I mean him.
01:05Bonnie Prince Charlie. He's under arrest.
01:07Well, you'll not find him here. This is Scottish soil, and you got no right to persecute the poor lad.
01:13But the soldier paid no heed and ordered his men to search the cottage.
01:18After creating a shambles, they left.
01:20That was a close one.
01:22You mean Bonnie Prince Charlie was here all the time?
01:25Aye, laddie. And unless we smuggle him down to the sea, I'm afraid he's doomed.
01:30Mr. Peabody will see that he gets away, won't you, Mr. Peabody?
01:34Sherman, I'd much rather shop for bagpipes than go...
01:36It's a deal.
01:37You sell bagpipes?
01:39No, I mean about you escorting the Bonnie Prince to the sea.
01:42There was no way out.
01:44The old Scotsman went to a closet in which Bonnie Prince Charlie was undoubtedly hiding.
01:47This should be easy, Mr. Peabody. All we have to do is disguise him.
01:51What as? A tree?
01:52For Bonnie Prince Charlie stood nine feet tall.
01:56Jeepers! He's big!
01:57So is our task.
01:58I don't know how you'll do it, but smuggle him out of Aberdeen and head for the ocean.
02:03There'll be a boat there waiting to take him to France.
02:06We left the cottage and, with our charge in tow, made a beeline for the road leading out of Aberdeen.
02:10Oh, my gosh! Look, Mr. Peabody! There's a British sentry guarding the road!
02:14Hmm. How does one get a nine-foot-tall prince past a sentry?
02:17I gave the problem one second of thought, and moments later, wearing a sweater with the word coach on it,
02:21I approached the sentry.
02:23Halt! Who goes there?
02:25I go there. Coach Peabody of the Aberdeen basketball team.
02:29Ah, here comes my team now.
02:33The sentry was practically mesmerized. Out of the fog, dribbling their way, came Sherman and Charlie.
02:38And, needless to say, the plan worked.
02:40We're out of Aberdeen, Mr. Peabody. Now what?
02:42Now we... Charlie? Charlie, are you up there, Charlie?
02:46Golly, Mr. Peabody, where is he?
02:48The fog cleared momentarily, and we got the answer.
02:52Charlie had dribbled his way back into Aberdeen.
02:54Uh, let me see, Sherman, what would a nine-foot prince do with a basketball?
02:58Of course, he'd look for a basket.
03:00Wasting no time, he ran to Aberdeen Square Garden, bought two tickets to the game, and dashed inside.
03:05There on the court, blissfully dribbling his freedom away, was Charlie.
03:08This place is packed with English soldiers!
03:10But due to the fact that all basketball players are tall, Charlie went undiscovered.
03:14That is, until he made the game-winning basket.
03:16And that's when he put on a sweatshirt, one with his name emblazoned on the back, of course.
03:22Oh, it's him! Grab him! Grab him there! It's the prince it is!
03:25Things looked black, and I made them blacker.
03:29The resulting confusion enabled us to sneak away.
03:32A short time later...
03:33Well, we reached the coast, Mr. Peabody. Our job is over.
03:36Not quite. We're supposed to turn the prince here over to a waiting boat.
03:39I don't see any boat.
03:40I don't either. All I see are British soldiers.
03:42And they're heading this way.
03:43I knew we had to hide Charlie and hide him fast.
03:45But he's too tall to hide.
03:46Then we'll cut him down to size. Do you dig?
03:48You bet I dig, Big Denny. Like I'm hip.
03:52No, no, no. I mean dig as in excavation.
03:55Oh!
03:56Sherman popped me by his knees and began scooping sand.
03:58You'd better let me do that, Sherman. After all, I've had more experience.
04:03I dug in and dug out. In no time at all, I had a six-foot hole into which I
04:07put Bonnie Prince Charlie.
04:09Gee, now he looks three feet tall.
04:10The soldiers quickly converged upon us.
04:12Oi! You blokes seen anything of a nine-foot-tall prince?
04:16Sorry, sir, but we haven't.
04:17We seemed to have fooled them until one sharp-eyed grenadier spotted a ring on Bonnie Prince Charlie's finger.
04:22Them initials BPC. What do they stand for?
04:26Uh, uh, buy Peabody's chestnuts.
04:28My name is Peabody, and I sell chestnuts.
04:31The trooper was satisfied and left.
04:33A half hour later, a ship appeared and ran a plank to the shore.
04:36Goodbye, Mr. Prince, Your Majesty.
04:38Bonnie Prince Charlie went aboard.
04:40As a token of his appreciation, Sherman and I received one of his horses.
04:43He sure is beautiful.
04:44That he is, and I'm surprised to say he doesn't even hurt.
04:47You expected him to hurt you?
04:49Well, charley horses usually do.
04:51He's right, and he's right.
04:51I feel...
04:51...
04:52He at the radio have that
