Even graceful birds have moments they would rather move past.
A swan is seen in a muddy patch near the water, then lifts its head and begins moving forward, swimming through the mud and away from where it landed.
“We were sitting in our boat when we heard a loud splat sound and saw a swan had landed in the mud. The swan looked very embarrassed. Then it lifted its head and styled it out, swimming through the mud as if nothing had happened. We thought it was so funny that we had to record it," the filmer, Paul, told WooGlobe.
The brief stumble gives way to a steady, almost practiced exit. The scene closes on the swan continuing on through the shallows in Southampton, UK.
