00:00111. In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
00:05112. Blessed is He in whose hand is dominion, and He is over all things competent.
00:15113. He who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed - and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving.
00:28114. He who created seven heavens in layers. You will not see any imperfection in the creation of the Most Merciful. So look again: do you see any flaw?
00:47115. Then look again and again; your sight will return to you humbled and weary.
00:58116. And We have adorned the nearest heaven with lamps and made them a source of amusement for the devils.
01:12117. And We have prepared for them the punishment of the blazing Fire.
01:18118. And for those who disbelieve in their Lord is the punishment of Hell, and wretched is the destination.
01:28119. If they are thrown into it, they will hear it squealing and it will rise above.
01:37110. It is almost indistinguishable from others.
01:42111. Whenever a group is thrown into it, its keepers ask them, “Did no warner come to you?”
01:55112. They said, "Yes, a warner did come to us."
02:01113. So we denied it and said, “God has not revealed anything. You are only in great error.”
02:15114. And they will say, "If only we had listened or reasoned, we would not be among the companions of the Blaze."
02:27115. So they confessed their sin, and away with the companions of the blazing fire!
02:35116. Those who fear their Lord unseen will have forgiveness and a great reward.
02:48117. Whether you conceal your speech or speak it aloud, He is All-Knowing of what is in the hearts.
03:00118. Does He who created not know, while He is the Subtle, the Acquainted?
03:06119. It is He who made the earth subservient to you, so walk upon its slopes and eat of His provision.
03:18110. And to Him is the resurrection.
03:22111. Do you feel secure that He who is in heaven will not cause the earth to swallow you up when it suddenly shakes?
03:35112. Or do you feel secure that He who is in heaven will not send against you a storm of stones?
03:46113. Then you will know how a warning came.
03:51114. And those before them denied the truth, so how severe was My punishment?
04:00115. Do they not see the birds above them spreading their wings and folding them in?
04:11116. None can hold them except the Most Merciful. Indeed, He is All-Seeing of everything.
04:22117. Is there anyone who can be your army to help you besides the Most Merciful?
04:35118. The disbelievers are only in delusion.
04:40119. Is it He who provides for you if He withholds His provision? Rather, they persist in arrogance and aversion.
04:54119. Is one who walks prone on his face better guided, or one who walks upright on a straight path?
05:09110. Say, "It is He who created you and made for you hearing, sight, and hearts."
05:23111. You are rarely grateful.
05:28112. Say, "It is He who has created you on the earth, and to Him you will be gathered."
05:35113. They say, “When will this promise be fulfilled, if you are truthful?”
05:43114. Say, "Knowledge is only with God, and I am only a clear warner."
05:55115. But when they saw him humiliated, the faces of those who disbelieved were darkened, and it was said, “This is what you used to call for.”
06:12116. Say, "Have you considered: if Allah destroys me and those with me, or has mercy on us, then who can protect the disbelievers among our number?"
06:25117. Say, "He is the Most Merciful; we have believed in Him and upon Him we have relied. And you will know who is in manifest error."
06:42118. Say, "Have you considered: if your water were to become sunken [into the earth], then who could bring you flowing water?"
