00:00In the name of God, the most gracious, the most merciful
00:09Qaf and the Glorious Qur'an
00:13But they were astonished that a warner had come to them from among themselves, and the disbelievers said, "What a strange thing!"
00:27When we have died and become dust, that is a far return.
00:37We know what the earth lacks of them, and with us is a preserved record.
00:47But they denied the truth when it came to them, so they are in a confused state.
00:59Have they not looked at the sky above them, how We constructed it and adorned it, and how it has no rifts?
01:14And We spread out the earth and placed therein firmly set mountains and caused to grow therein every kind of beautiful plant.
01:29A reminder and a lesson for every repentant servant
01:36And We sent down blessed rain from the sky and made grow thereby gardens and grain for harvest.
01:54And the tall, sprouting trees have clusters of fruit.
02:00sustenance for the servants
02:03And We revived the town of Mita, just as We revived the Exodus.
02:12The people of Noah, the companions of the messengers, and Thamud denied the truth before them.
02:20He returned, and branch and brothers of Nut
02:25The people of the thicket and the people of Tubba'
02:30All the messengers lied, so the threat was justified.
02:36Did we not see the first creation?
02:41Or perhaps she is in a state of confusion regarding a new creation.
02:47And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him.
02:56And We are closer to him than his jugular vein.
03:01The two receivers, one on the right and one on the left, are seated.
03:09Every word he utters is recorded by a vigilant observer.
03:19And the agony of death came with the truth
03:23That is what you were trying to avoid.
03:28And the trumpet was blown
03:30That is the Day of Reckoning
03:36Every soul will come with it a driver and a witness.
03:44I was oblivious to this.
03:49We have removed your veil, so your sight today is sharp.
03:57His companion said, "This is what I have prepared."
04:03Throw into Hell every stubborn disbeliever
04:09Preventing good is a suspicious and aggressive act.
04:15He who associates others with God, cast him into severe punishment.
04:24His companion said, "Our Lord, I did not cause him to transgress, but he was in extreme error."
04:36He said, “Do not dispute before me, for I have already warned you.”
04:44I do not change my word, and I am not unjust to my servants.
04:53On the Day We will say to Hell, “Have you been filled?” and it will say, “Is there any more?”
05:02And Paradise will be brought near to the righteous, not far off.
05:09This is what you were promised to every repentant sinner.
05:15He who fears the Most Merciful unseen and comes with a repentant heart
05:24Enter it in peace; that is the Day of Eternity.
05:31They will have whatever they wish therein, and with Us is more.
05:38And how many generations before them did We destroy who were mightier than them in power, and they searched throughout the land. Is there any escape?
05:53Indeed, in that is a reminder for whoever has a heart or gives ear while he is present [in mind].
06:04And We created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in six days, and no weariness touched Us.
06:17So be patient with what they say, and glorify your Lord with praise before sunrise and before sunset.
06:27And glorify Him during the night and after prostration
06:33And listen on the Day when the caller calls from a nearby place
06:41The day they hear the cry of truth, that is the day of resurrection.
06:49Indeed, it is We who give life and cause death, and to Us is the final destination.
06:56On the Day the earth will split open, revealing them hastening forth. That gathering is easy for Us.
07:05We know best what they say, and you are not a tyrant over them.
07:15So remind those who fear the threat of the Quran.
