00:28obliging him he's plus 650 to win the Cy Young clearly Skeens and Christopher Sanchez should be
00:34the favorites here but it is really bunched up Skeens Sanchez Sale Otani even the Miz at plus 750 this

00:41anybody's I think at this point on the way Sanchez just threw the other day oh my goodness now you
00:47got to put him right in the favorites here the fact that it's way down the board there but part
00:51of the
00:51reason why I think you got to look at the Phillies differently now Zach Wheeler he's not going to be
00:55be able to make up the innings but the fact that this guy's thrown the way that he has after
00:59thoracic outlet surgery I think that's been a big reason why we've seen the Phillies be better as
01:02well and he could just pitch his way into the conversation I think the real reality is though
01:07it's going to kind of be that four horse race but then when you see the way Mizorowski's throwing
01:11then you say five and then all of a sudden you look at Chase Burns and say I'm never going
01:15to count
01:15that kid out when he's on it's pure dominance so it is this unbelievable group Skeens has already
01:20had more five earned run or five run outings than he had in his entire career prior so you know
01:25he's
01:26opened the door here but the thing is when that guy's locked in it feels like no one can catch

01:31but you could say the same thing about Sanchez you can say the same thing about sale it's really been
01:35more health dependent with him and I agree with you is anyone going to say I don't trust that Shohei
01:41Otani is going to be able to make something happen that we haven't seen before and I think it's very
01:45clear that the priority here is to prove that he is you know also one of the best pitchers in
01:50Major League Baseball after not being able to prove that due to injury over the last couple years
01:53he proved that he can hit and I agree I see the same thing you can see the emotion on

01:58he's a little bit even more fired up with these big outs you know to get it out of the
02:02sixth inning or
02:02whatever it may be and he said that pitching you know is his you know true passion is true love

02:07I think you're seeing it now and he looks like a man on a mission and the fact that he's

02:11in the top three there I think this might be one of the most wide open and fun and competitive
02:15Cy Young finishes that we've had in a little while yeah I think I think by the end of the

02:20Otani is going to be close to if not the favorite there's no other explanation for why all of a

02:26this guy is not hitting like I'm not talking about not performing I'm just talking about like not even
02:31hitting in games why because I think that he wants that award that's that listen it's a conspiracy
